Well not really Dan. A lot of immigrants and their descendants are not working. Unemployment in some sections of the non-white population is high. As much as 9% in some groups. You are quite correct of course. I was being ironic. Damn. Shoulda spotted it. |

There definitely seemed to be a change last night. Thousands turned out to protest the racist scum rioters that have been ruining this country for the last week. Have ordinary people reclaimed the streets? Could be. But I suspect that hefty prison sentences and the extra 1300 police around and visible on London streets are the main reasons widespread violence failed to materialise.
The mass "show of unity" could have gone either way had the expected thugs showed up... Do you think Starmer would be talking about banging them all up in prison if they were muslims? No, me neither. |
