What I find saddest is not that this charity worker is so uncharitable but that the royal family are so weak. Indeed. It's not as if they realistically have to worry about losing their 'job' It represents a level of personal cowardice an order of magnitude greater than that displayed by typical cowards. All they would be risking is having to briefly defend common sense in public. So spineless, they can't even manage that My point on a different similar thread, the Royals should not be apologizing for anything, they should keep this old dear doing what she does, and speak up for her, instead of throwing her under a bus.
The royals must stop being cowering cowards to the snowflake wokes, if they don't they will have a apologetic future of saying sorry we are white, sorry we are royal, sorry we are privilaged, sorry you are black, sorry your ancestors were slaves, sorry sorry sorry ...
They need to think it through.

I don't think its just the royals, its all of us. I am woke, I recognise there is racism in my country and agree it needs sorting. BUT this sort of thing is ridiculous, this is a group of people riding the wave, feeling important. They are doing more harm than the racists by dumbing down the problems to whether you should say Coloured person or person of colour, non binary or undefined. It has to stop.

The dreadful crime of asking someone which African country they originated from. God knows there are some heinous crimes, but none worse than asking a black person where they were born. The shame, oh the shame. I once accidentally called a person of colour, a coloured person. I went and lived in a monastery for two years to repent my sins. For gods sake, this has to stop.

It's what eventually results from a long term policy of avoiding confrontation. A dysfunctional, unbalanced, abusive relationship gradually develops.

If “the old woman” was invited only as a family friend, as wasn’t assisting at the function, then what did she “resign” from or what position was she fired from — family friend or palace aide? And The Palace establishment obviously believes that anything said or done by aides at functions inspired by, or headed by, the King’s consort has a lot to do with the Royal Family. It seems obvious that ”Harry’s wife” prefers to be associated with her mother and her heritage, rather than her father and that side of her family… It appears you have not read the reports in the media Lady Hussey was a Lady in Waiting to the late Queen for 60 years a very close friend of HM and her family, now at her age she simply has the title of Lady in Waiting now an" Honorary Title" not working for the Royal Family any longer but still a friend of the family, she has resigned the title now, did she do it of her volition or was she pushed ? you tell me I'll let you guess about the Kings Consort Camilla which bit of she is married to the King which bit do you not understand she is part of the Royal family? it appears to me Lady Hussey was a guest as a family friend hardly surprising given why the party was held As for Megan Harrys wife a rather self-centred ex soft porn star who likes to get her way, if not she sulks, she wears the trousers not Harry he does as he is told There’s no quibble from me about Lady Hussey’s former position. Pushed or sacked as a current occasional aide, who knows? But she was at the function as a Meeter and Greeter and, paid or voluntary, it was an official role. The announcements from the Palace and her of her losing her role came speedily after the allegations, which shows that dithering is done and someone forceful now has their hands on the tiller Through my first post I avoided referring to the Royal Family, because I can see the monarchy as a state concern, and a working part of the Palace Head of State organisation. What opinions individual members of the family have is incidental to the whole Head of State activity. Harry and his wife appear to be faring rather better than their (Palace-briefed and Palace-loyal) detractors hoped. And aren’t they also better ambassadors for Britain than Uncle Randy…?

So someone born in north London culturally appropriates the name and dress of a person from Africa - so is cultural appropriation OK or not?
