Yea yea nasty Establishments How things turn volte face. 50 years ago anyone 'to the left' would be shouting exactly that with no sarcasm attached to it at all and bemoaning how the establishment were ganging up against them. Well in them day even in the 70s police were infuriating Groups like the CND And such where Tommy gets paid to commit crime by his backers

Yea yea nasty Establishments This is a fair point. Reading into why Tommy was arrested, it was because he was detained under the terrorism act and refused to answer questions (that’s what schedule 7 is). Though I’d be curious as to what reasons the terrorism act was wielded against him - because it’s not to be used arbitrarily and there seems clear political motivation by some to do so. Indeed. Under terrorism legislation, the police can initially detain a suspect for up to seven days in order to investigate the allegation. And suspects are generally held in a specialist facility. AFAIK, neither was applied to Mr Robinson who was taken to an ordinary police station and bailed, as normal, within 24 hours. Which casts serious doubt on the solidity of the "Terrorist" allegation and is highly suggestive of a stitch up.

We dont know about why he was Arrested under the terrorism act . But what we do know that he shown a video he made that had a restriction order on it. He continues to put himself in the Arms of the law So really what you’re saying it’s ok to arrest him because you don’t like his politics but not people when you decide they’re being targeted because of their race rather than their actions. To be clear I have no time for Robinson but he like you is trying to exploit events for his own agenda just like you but he’s far better at it.

I appreciate Tommy is a very decisive figure, but at the same time, just because someone says something you don’t like, isn’t a reason to detain or arrest someone - or that’s a very quick path to an Orwellian dystopia. That he showed a video that has a gag order on it, maybe an offense, but are you saying that is the reason the terrorism act was used to arrest him? One would think, if that’s the case, violating a court order was itself reason for detention?

It smells like bullshit.

I assume arresting someone under the terrorism act gives police far greater powers over the suspect, probably being able to delve deeply into his private life, and those associated with him, it's basically a law to snoop on people, the only problem being that it is never used on the right people.

There's a game of cat and mouse being played out, that you're not privy to. Let me help: Robinson is no better than he should be. And he's a political player who gets up the nose of the establishment. It's the one thing that I like about him. And the establishment, via the police, abuse due process in their attempts to discredit him. And for his part, Robinson doesn't care because every false arrest is free advertising for his cause. But that doesn't make it right. And that could be any one of us if the establishment decide that they don't like our views.

If Tommy Robinson wants to avoid being arrested, he should convert to Islam.

That he falsely accused a syrian boy of bullying children, leading to that child being threatened and harrassed?

Who said I liked anything else about him, Steve - apart from you? I just pointed out that there's a game being played that you're not privy to. And he gets up the nose of the establishment. Both correct. As I usually am.
