Just listened to Andy Burnham who appealed for calm and said this is a complicated incident. Bollox. It's a simple case of the police being violently attacked. The End. If the attackers had been white this wouldn't have been news for more than five minutes. They would have been arrested and due to the seriousness of the attack would probably been in court the following day and quite rightly received five years in prison. However, the attackers were Muslims, and apparently that changes the law. Disagree Red, Police have to follow procedures we have not heard any warnings yet because body cams recordings have not been released. Until then happens we can only guess. It is clear two chaps fight the police with fists. It is clear police strike unarmed civilians against procedure and at least one was a bystander and was not involved in the clips seen to date. The context changed with the showing of the earlier clip it will likely change once the vocal recordings have been shared, I doubt they will publicly though. |

Baring in mind that this incident was initially a very violent attack …on the police …in an international airport . FRom what I read this morning there were at least two violent incidents There was apparently an altercation involving the mother during the Qatar flight There was another altercation involving the mother in the luggage hall There was a violent fight in Starbucks in the arrivals hall involving the sons (and mother) There was the violent fight at the car park involving the sons, the mother and the police |
