Sounds like a victim mentality to me. If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. Yet if it were Starmer on the receiving end you'd be up in arms.

I think they saw the milk shakes and tea cups and rubble were not working so did not go down that line. They know the 'racism' charges have legs but find it difficult to make accusations stick without having to give the same treatment to the other parties. I think the Parker incident is a poorly thought through piece of desperation that may rebound badly on many and I fully expect one more desperate attempt to affix the racist tag to Reform/Farage by hook or by crook. I think now many people do not care about these sideways swipes at people being 'racist' and see it as a means to talk about other things rather than betting and policies. |

There does seem to be an inordinate amount of scrutiny of Reform from all sides - which considering that they will be lucky to get more seats than Plaid Cymru is rather disproportionate. Meanwhile the Party that is going to form the next government is getting next to no scrutiny of their policies... |

I gave up on QT fifteen years ago when the left-wing bias became too obvious to ignore. Pretty much everyone now accepts that the BBC is left leaning. Hell, they've even admitted it on multiple occasions.
Indeed, the only people trying to claim that the BBC is not left wing are left wingers. And well, they would say that wouldn't they.

I simply dont believe you, can you prove that there were no Reform UK supporters there ? BBC QT audiences are based on how people voted in the last general election, not on opinion polling. The number of Reform UK supporters present would have been small, they would be overpowered by Conservative and Labour voters, as well as Lib Dems and others. We have heard all this nonsense before, from people of all political persuassions accusing the BBC of rigging audiences. Are you suggesting that there was an overuse of right-wing voices?. Over 50% of people want lower immigration and 20% support Farage - yet none of his comments got a round of applause or any sign of support. If there were Reform supporters in the audience were they all deaf and dumb? |
