As has been explained to you umpteen times , most people do not want ‘ back in ‘ because they do not know the terms of rejoining. The reality is that this lie reflects answers in polls to half baked questions . Of course if you'd read what I said, I didn't claim that. I claimed that most people think Brexit is a steaming pile of sh1t. And of course that's true, including people that voted for it. Did someone hack your account and type this in the post that I replied to? ”But if most people want back in, you can't really blame them?

We should think very carefully before committing our military resources to the EU . We could work together and be allies but to totally commit to a quasi federal alliance that we have just left is unwise . EU countries shouldn’t be poncing off the Uk. They should commit to increasing their own military budgets first . As opposed to commiting them to the USA?
That is a better option why?

Committing them to the US was something you just pulled out of your arse . Are you saying that there are only two choices ?

It's been the default choice for every US overseas military adventure since the Vietnam War.

This is not worrying - this is good Further and deeper defence co-operation with Europe is good for Britains security, for several reasons. Not least because we share the same common potential threats, secondly because there is much uncertainty about NATO with Donald Trump potentialy becoming US President. It is not beyond the bounds of possibility that next year the United Stated may either scale down its European commitments, threaten to pull out of Europe or pull out of NATO, he has made similar remarks in the past, even saying that nations who do not commit to higher defence spending should be bombed by Russia. WE ARE a European nation whether anyone likes it or not, we allready have very high levels of defence co-operation with Europe, and France is our biggest Defence Industry Partner after the United States. Most logical thinking people will accept this as the right thing to do, including our top military men and women, only fanatical anti-Europe nutjobs will be opposed to such a common sense move as this. We used to say it was very important to arm the French. That way we had the self destruct codes for anything they threw at us.

Is this going to happen for sure or is it scare mongering. If anything it might help strengthen are boarders from the Boat people . The proposal involves contributions into the European Defence Fund - what we would get out of such donations is far from clear. Our soldiers, airmen, sailors, marines, ships, aircraft and landforce would be directed and controlled from the unaccountable EU commission. Have we not learned anything from the EU? It's not merely a defence and security force. It's a power grab that makes the UK subordinate to EU law again. British policies for defence and foreign policy would become EU policies for defence and foreign policy and this would be legally binding in a treaty and under EU law. British troops and the complete intelligence structure could be placed in harm's way by a foreign body who is unaccountable. They could even be deployed against the interests of Britain itself. The devil is in the detail. www.briefingsforbritain.co.uk/the-defence-threat-from-hidden-eu-deals/
