www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/met-office-may-weather-forecast-uk-temeperature-b1161775.htmlOnce again doom is just on the horizon. Despite the spring and May being basically cold with heating being on more often than not for many the trick of taking the mean temperature daily as being the midpoint of the highest and lowest and averaging those out over all areas for the month means that a gloomy but mild spring will still be the warmest as cloud cover kept minimum temperatures up. Mildness is now doom.

Agree. May was cold, heating was on a bit, it chucked it down with rain. Compare that with the Spring in 2020 during lockdown, chalk and cheese. Telling me it was the warmest on record doesn't compute.

Blimey, it was below maximum and minimum temperature by a couple of degrees or so all month, plus it pissed down for much of it. The heating went on a couple of times. If it was the hottest May on record, it must have been utterly boiling elsewhere to wipe out the stats in my area.

I haven't met one person yet, that agree with the figures they are putting out, but then what would the rest of us know, we only live here.

I have solar panels. Now, obviously, these measure sunlight rather than temperature, but this years May figures were the lowest of the 11 years that I've had them installed.

I have solar panels. Now, obviously, these measure sunlight rather than temperature, but this years May figures were the lowest of the 11 years that I've had them installed. Which means cloud cover has been pretty extensive which keeps the daytime temperatures down and the nighttime temperatures up. Herein lies the problem with much of the data used to scare the pants off of us. How, what and how often you measure are very important as is how that information is related to everything else. What we do know is that the raw data is manipulated, corrected, ignored and reinvented allover the place. We have to accept we are boiling whilst we are actually shivering.

Global warming has been so bad this year I’ve had to spark up my wood burner . Ironic really

Its well known in climatologist and Greta worshiping circles that the warmer it gets the colder it feels .Apart from when it actually is warm or god forbid hot then its sizzling and the end of the world .

It hit 28c down here in Devon today, it was 20 plus yesterday and we had rain which made it very humid and sticky......Weather warms up in summer so what the fuck do they expect?

Temperatures in the UK make little difference to the average global temperature as the surface area of the UK is only 0.048% of the Earth's surface area.

Temperatures in the UK make little difference to the average global temperature as the surface area of the UK is only 0.048% of the Earth's surface area. Then why is any change in any pattern of our largely unpredictable weather hailed as man-made climate change upon which we must act? More rain, climate change, less rain climate change, hotter weather climate change, cooler weather climate change, hot Saturday in March climate change, cool Sunday in July climate change. Climate changes, patterns shift, rain falls, the sun shines, wind blows, not every event is climate change, most especially with our incomplete understanding of what it is and how we should measure it.

June isn’t delivering up the usual warm spells normally associated with out-of-control Global Warming !??
Can someone tell the Globalist-funded anarchist disrupters at JSO HQ that it was all a hoax? …. Maybe 70 years of covert geo-weathering… U.S. Military experiments spraying our atmosphere with toxic chemicals, cloud-seeding and micro-waving clouds to shift the Gulf Stream… did more damage than me driving an eco-friendly diesel car ?…. surely we need to point a finger at this having a serious detriMENTAL effect on crop production Worldwide?
Does anyone else think these Globalist manipulators are just finding one method after another to starve, poison, irradiate and kill us?? ….
Semi-arid desert greening programmes and an end to tropical deforestation will give this Eden Project a better chance to recover … JSO anarchist Groupies on electric scooters tapping their iPhones, sponsored to destroy our economies isn’t a solution
We need to be more aware of the possible climate-damaging effects of the microwave radiation ‘soup’ we are polluting our air with … from satellites/GPS/Skynet/mobile mast system networks/4+5G/military radar interferences etc … ??
… we don’t realise how much these microwaves are shifting the Gulf Stream around … and messing up the Earth’s protective ionisation layers.
If we shift to cable broadband … and a different non-sat navigation system … and had cable points to just plug a phone in when making a call … surely that would drastically reduce this whole damaging microwave ‘SOUP affecting our weather’? … and likely drastically improve our health around cancer and other irradiation illnesses too?? Cable/Landline phones …now there’s a novelty!

Sitting here having my breakfast watching the rain pissing down outside. Checks the weather app on the phone and sees that no improvement expected for the next 10 days. Although the app did helpfully suggest that I wear sunscreen between 10 and 5 today...
