Yes I get your point, but that is not optional, it would be up to the government to enforce optional. Nothing is optional when the government implement T&Cs, which restrict hours of work or be penalised with Universal Credit/Tax/Family credit cuts.
It's exposed that 'carer allowance' for those who are carers have to abide by a strict rule of working hours... fuck them, just put people in to care or hospitals will cost the government of the day a fortune ........ carers the unsung hero's saving the NHS a absolute fortune.
I agree re carers, they ae unrecognised - there are apparently ''maximum'' working earnings and ''maximum hour worked '' before being allowed to claim the paltry carers benefit which in effect means that virtually only benefit handout spongers are eligible for carers benefit. Others have to do it ''for free' Also if say, one spouse is a carer for the other and reaches OAP pension age irrespective of the ongoing caring duties the carers benefit stops as the rules say that its an overlapping benefit and you cant have both state pension and carers benefit. Carers save the state fortunes

Good old Nige said what everyone else is thinking (as he always does) ... Angela Rayner is the 'real' leader of the Labour party, the Unions don't give a toss about what Starmer thinks, he'll get Labour elected and they'll unceremoniously kick him out. I see the loudmouthed bitch turned the debate into a slanging match with Mordaunt last night. Penny always wipes the floor with her you would have thought the slag had of learnt her lesson by now. Penny was told to shut up because she was being ignorant and aggressive. She also told the lie about Labour tax if they win the election. She is a typical loud mouthed arrogant dishonest Tory tit head. Loved by Tory tit heads.

Perhaps they don't even like the lying arsehole.....Sir dithers has done more U-Turns than a spinning wheel...
Labour’s largest union donor Unite refuses to endorse party’s election manifesto
Sir knel-a-lot’s election campaign has suffered a blow after Labour’s largest union donor Unite refused to endorse the party’s manifesto.
The decision by the union was such a shock it even caught some shadow cabinet members by surprise.
Party figures had described a crunch meeting on Friday, in which shadow ministers, union representatives, MPs and Labour members gathered to set the final manifesto, as "positive".
This so called 'secret clause V meeting' in which attendees were supposed to endorse Labours manifesto, was supposed to be voted on. But because Unite refused to endorse it, it was decided that a vote wasn't necessary after all lol.
