But my point is that you can't pretend that Palestine doesn't exist just because it's politically inconvenient. It's nothing to do with being inconvenient or not - Palestine simply does not meet the criteria to be a country. It's like those that pretend this guy is a woman. Hope does not trump reality.  |

Notice how people talk about the need for the West to recognise Palestine, yet they don't talk about Iran. There will never be peace in the Middle East while Iran is run by religious nutters. A stable two state solution will promote democracy, and that directly threatens all the authoritarian states in the Middle East. This is because they're Hamas terrorist supporters who now dominate Labour.
