Or ordinary Israelis for that matter, you know, the ones that have been under going regular rocket attacks for the past 15 years. The way people are going on about the Palestinians is ignoring the plight of the Israelis who were attacked by the Palestinians last October. In any debate about the Israel-Palestinian conflict, people always get to this point dont they ? Rather like in a childrens playground - They started it, no THEY started it, but no one ever seems to accept either common sense or reality. Both sides have been wrong, yet both sides have legitimate claims. The Israeli's DID ( and continue ) to steal land which belonged / belong to Palestine, and many of the actions of the Palestinian groups are, and have been unacceptable, like the 7th October terror attack. Sometime this week, a piece of land which has been used for generations by a Palestinian hill farmer will be stolen by the Israelis. Sometime this week a Palestinian militant group will attempt to fire a rocket into Israel or shoot dead an Israeli soldier.

Eventually , when Israel has destroyed the terrorist groups that infest Palestine then maybe a discussion about a long term solution would be apt …but not until then . So, what about ordinary Palestinians in the mean time? 🤔 They will be in the same position as any other ordinary people who are losing any other war .

It takes a special kind of idiot to compare a war with a children’s playground . What next..Comparing the Ukraine war with a game of British bulldog ?…ffs.

That's a good question. Another good question is to define its borders.

Down memory lane: Palestinian terror group Hamas THANKS Jeremy Corbyn for his support as militants ‘salute’ Labour leader online after he sent message to anti-Israel rally last weekend
Starmer is literally copying Jeremy Corbyn to cosy up to the Reich.

"Is Palestine oldest or Israel?" Taking stock. By more than 1,000 years, “Israel” predates “Palestine.” The land then became home primarily to an Arab population, again for more than a millennium. Both Jews and Arabs thus have a legitimate claim to the land. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has seen myriad wrongs and brutalities on both sides.

Posts on here ought to at least try to be honest in my opinion What you are doing here is no better than propoganda - There is nothing incompatable with (A) recognising Palestine, and (B) opposing terrorism. Recognising Palestine, as most of the world has done, cannot be interpreted as supporting Hamas, as you have suggested here, and your post is dishonest. Most of the world supported 1 person = 1 vote in pre-democratic South Africa under apartheid, but that did not mean they supported the terrorist acts as carried out by elements of the ANC and others.

So what. I'm not talking about 'most states'. I'm talking about the independent and sovereign UK who in my opinion should be leaders not followers, which I agree is most unlikely with a Labour government.

If the opinion polls are anywhere close to been accurate, Starmer does not "need Muslim votes" Recognising Palestine has no connection to either Hamas or Hezbollah, which are political movements with armed wings. Palestine is a partially recognised state which has existed in one form or another for hundreds of years. Many democratic nations recognise Palestine, including just about every nation in South America, Africa and Asia. In Europe, Palestine is recognised by Spain, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Iceland, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Ukraine and The Vatican. There is absolutely nothing incompatable with recognising Palestine and opposing acts of terrorism as carried out by Hamas on 7th October 2023, and supporting the right to self determination has no connection to supporting terrorism. Just because other countries in 'South America Africa and Asia'! Recognise Palestine does not mean the UK should fall into line, the only reason Starmer has announced this is because Labour need Muslim votes in 16 safe constituencies, and as many as 30 marginals and the obvious way of appeasing this vociferous aggressive minority is for Starmer to announce that if they vote Labour he will recognise Palestine. It's absolutely transparent.
