Common sense has taken hold, he cant expect people to vote reform if he doesnt lead from the front, at worst him not standing shows he has no faith in his own party. Game on, common sense now has a party.Farage and the right wing loons and racists around him have about as much in common with common sense as a whoopy cushion. You illustrate the point in the last page or so quite well.

So Sunak's worst nightmares have come true. I was a bit skeptical about what the polls are showing and I thought the election would be much closer. However, I think Faragi will make a big difference to how many votes Reform will steal from the Tories who now look deservedly doomed.
I never thought I would say this but I hope in the Clacton constituency voters of all colours should vote Tory in order to keep Faragi out of Westminster. If Faragi wins, no doubt he will be strutting about bragging about his great victory, like the twat that he is. The current score is electorate 7 Faragi 0 and i hope in July it will be eight nil.
You are forgetting the European elections where the electorate put him in five times. A problem for the UK was that most voters appeared to pay about the same attention to European elections as they did/do to local elections. UK voter turnout ranged between 24% and 38.52% in the euros — approx the same for the locals. BNP won two seats in 2009.
Clacton looks like a shoe in for Farage:— 52% older than 65; 95% White; 94% UK born; and 50% Christian...

Farage in Parliament will ask the questions that many of the electorate want him to ask and to expose the cosy little tete-a-tetes that pass for passionate debate in the Westminster club. The Club have tended to ignore Andrew Bridgen and sideline him by speaking to an empty chamber but Farage will garner more interest and if an empty chamber is seen as he speaks then the electorate will not be impressed. He exposed the EU parliament for what it was he is sorely needed in the UK parliament and if he struts and swaggers who cares as long as he serves his constituency and those who support him. Well if he wins, judging by his attendance record at the EU parliament, I can't see the HOC seeing much of him never mind asking questions, but he will be happy to take the money as he was from the EU. Neither can I see his constituency seeing much of him.

Oh look, another lefty who wants to maintain the cozy consensus. Just shows how close Labour and the (un)Tories really are. I hope that Nigel does win. I hope he struts and swaggers. And I hope he takes a great big piss on that cozy consensus. 🙂 You've no idea what I want and I wasn't aware there was a cozy consensus. Anyway, I don't really care that much who wins the election as the Tories have destroyed this country beyond repair by any party.

Do not forget UKIP were there to see the UK leave not to embroil them further into the EU bureaucracy by voting for more of the same. Time will tell if he wins the seat.

You've no idea what I want... I guess you must've lied when you said this, then: I never thought I would say this but I hope in the Clacton constituency voters of all colours should vote Tory in order to keep Faragi out of Westminster... 🤣

Of course there is a cozy consensus, Andrew Bridgen has been the recipient of the actions of that cozy consensus whereby querying parliament (as opposed to government) initiates a sending to Coventry action from almost all MPs.

Given that Trump got convicted the other day, him going over to the states to campaign for a convict might not have been the best decision.

You seem unable to grasp the gist of the conversation, you have made a large number of posts that have failed to add to our understanding of your argument. Perhaps you should consider throwing a milkshake at Mr Farage, it might be a gesture that you could be proud of.

How can individual voters in Clacton have a consensus? Are you saying that they all know each other and have come to some sort of agreement? Highly unlikely, I would have thought.
