Farage as the leader of the Reform Party. A very ambitious far-right politician. And a world that appears to be foolishly moving towards the political right. Hmm We want ambitious politicians. Far-right and foolishly are of course opinions. No one is disputing the fact that the Reform Party IS far-right. And being a sensible individual I have a sensible opinion on extreme political positions. They are on the outer extremes of politics because they are extremists. To be conned by political extremists IS FOOLISH.

An extremist is one who is on the extremes of any group, if reform are on 15% support within the electorate they are hardly extreme.

see2 And it seems to me that the Far- Left have a special liking for placing the word 'conspiracy' in front of any theory they don't like. A cheap and easy way to discredit ...... and I'm told tossing out 'Anti-semitism' accusations works on the same basis ..... I wonder if you've tried it ? I'm not an expert on what the far-left do, but I only refer to conspiracy when I see it. And that is fair and reasonable. I have never been involved in "tossing out anti-Semitism" so I'm not sure what your point is.

Well some TV reporters apparently know because they refer to Reform as far right. IIRC some of the organisers of Reform have a history of being far-right. Unnecessary explanation is nothing more than a hiding place. Thatcher had a high level of support it didn't stop her from earning the title of being a "stocking footed fascist".

Once again there is no definition of what is 'far-right' is just a statement of 'fact'. No explanation is the real hiding place. Titles from those who oppose are generally derogatory in nature and not necessarily true. However having a high level of support means that one is not extremist in the strict meaning of the word. If one is using 'extremist' as a political description then one has to clearly define what that is. Throwaway comments do not aid debate, they hinder clarity.

So Sunak's worst nightmares have come true. I was a bit skeptical about what the polls are showing and I thought the election would be much closer. However, I think Faragi will make a big difference to how many votes Reform will steal from the Tories who now look deservedly doomed.
I never thought I would say this but I hope in the Clacton constituency voters of all colours should vote Tory in order to keep Faragi out of Westminster. If Faragi wins, no doubt he will be strutting about bragging about his great victory, like the twat that he is. The current score is electorate 7 Faragi 0 and i hope in July it will be eight nil.

Governments have conspired against the people they are supposed to serve since there were governments. Its only a conspiracy’ theory ‘ when it suits lefties.

Farage in Parliament will ask the questions that many of the electorate want him to ask and to expose the cosy little tete-a-tetes that pass for passionate debate in the Westminster club. The Club have tended to ignore Andrew Bridgen and sideline him by speaking to an empty chamber but Farage will garner more interest and if an empty chamber is seen as he speaks then the electorate will not be impressed. He exposed the EU parliament for what it was he is sorely needed in the UK parliament and if he struts and swaggers who cares as long as he serves his constituency and those who support him.

I notice almost every channel that Farage is interviewed the interviewer all has the same theme 'Nigel the racist', that's all they try to portray him in every interview.
No serious debate on what he intends to stand for and what his policies are, he's just interviewed for the sole purpose that he has to be portrayed as a racist, they really are sad bastards, Trump has to put up with the same bias crap, all I can say they are shithouses with no backbone and ponder to the lefties.

Exactly. It’s a leftie tactic. That’s why the idiot ( and others tbh) who whines about right wing/ Tory DNA = lies makes himself look an idiot every time he spouts it .

Oh look, another lefty who wants to maintain the cozy consensus. Just shows how close Labour and the (un)Tories really are. I hope that Nigel does win. I hope he struts and swaggers. And I hope he takes a great big piss on that cozy consensus. 🙂

I caught a bit of Michal Hussain's interview this morning and it was quite aggressive, she talked over Nigel several times and interrupted him repeatedly and obviously queried his Muslim comments. You could hear Nigel's frustration but he will have to expect a lot more of this as they seek out the Chinese in his pretty robust armour for a weak point to exploit. They are gunning for him, little doubt about that.

They are all a one trick pony, just keep calling him out as being a racist, nothing else said will matter, just keep drumming home the racist theme, no one will find out what his policies are, because he'll never have a fair chance of telling them, while on the other hand flip-flop Starmer doesn't have to answer any questions or give out any polices because he's Starmer.
