Sorry you don't grasp the concept of alternative timelines. You agree Farage was in a plane crash? You agree he may have died? You agree that if he had died, the political landscape today may have been different? You agree that this alternative timeline political landscape may have been different better, different worse, different neither better or worse, or essentially the same. Having had a left wing fuckwit try to firebomb my current home because i stood for election to westminster, and gaving had about half a dozen of the same try to kill me with firebombs fir being an animal experimenter and some others try to persuade me it was not a healthy idea to continue working on this country’s nuclear deterrent ….. I agree it’s fucking disgusting to put up a post suggesting the world would be a better place if an elected politician had died violently. Can you imagine the uproar and outrage if a Right wing poster posted that comment on here,
But I'm not surprised at that comment, because that's how they win, it's what they accuse Putin of doing, if he can't win over his opponents then he just has them done away with, that is basically what steve is saying.

I stated that the event in question happens every year, just like Glastonbury, it's held in one of the wealthiest countries in the world, at the hottest time of the year.
Why weren't their adequate water provisions laid on for vast amount of people they 'KNEW' would be turning up.
Needless deaths because a wealthy country wouldn't supply followers with water, thats the point I made which you never mentioned.

I tend to agree, I would make one comment though that the toxicity was a counterpoint to Farage, it was not presented by Farage and the fear and loathing came from the Remain side. The cries of Racism, the cries of Xenophobia and the cries of bigotry came from Remain supporters which created a very toxic atmosphere with many on the left unable to control their hatred. |

There was already hate in this country some hated Thatcher, some Scots hate the English. I think Scotland should go thier own way and then they would have to face some sticky economic questions and could not blame Westminster though now it is academic. |

The fact you're having to explain this, kinda means you were very careless with your words, and there are alot of moderate people here telling you that wishing folk dead is bad, meaning they took it that way too.
I also read it the same way, and was about to censor the post, until i realized it's been quoted a half dozen times or more before i had chance to read the report.
Anyway - avoid posting things like that in future pls.

This is gigantic disengagement It is not the total collapse i had hoped for, it looks like we will have to wait for labour's policies to work that magic I expected a poor turn out. Tories staying at home and Labour not promising anything exciting. But they didn't need to make rash promises that might come back to bite them because it was in the bag anyway. Quite pleased the Lib Dems have done well. |
