jonksy isn't here to defend himself, I can't comment, best if you take it up with him. I'll settle with my comment which is true and move on. In parting I remind you that this is what you want here, so embrace it. And here you are revelling in it . Hypocrite.

The same lot who setup the far-left troll farm and made Zanygame a moderator were also the same lot who were selected to moderate this place.

Zany wasn't going to rest until he was a moderator of some description, the problem he has now he's got what he wanted but can't use and abuse his mod status, so it's boring over on the dark side.

How come the results of an election that caused barely 60% of the electorate to get off their backsides and vote is now causing so much angst…?

How come the results of an election that caused barely 60% of the electorate to get off their backsides and vote is now causing so much angst…? What are you on about ? Apologies — I’ll put the quest more simply: only six out of ten people voted, and four out of ten seemed content with whatever the outcome was in the 2024 general election — with me so far? Then I’ll continue — I’m wondering what it is the rest of us who are content with the outcome should be worrying about? I’ve seen no cogent explanation so far…

Britain would be a far better place if Farage had died in that plane crash. That's disgusting, and you having a go at jonksy ... double standard hypocrite. Einy, Darling, and now aristaeus all like to do disgusting.

The posts in this thread that appear to be exhibiting a feeling of deep anxiety or dread… If there is dread , it has nothing to do with percentage of people who voted . It must be the result of the election. I dont see any angst about the percentage of voters either .

If an election only attracted six out of ten of the voters eligible to vote in the 2024 election, I don’t see the result can be that contentious to the people it affects. So as neither you or anyone else has explained why it should be, I’ll leave you to get the last word and feel you’ve won a famous victory…

So what are people's majority predictions? I'm going for a 206 seat majority for Labour. I'll guess about 185 majority for Labour, similar to Tony Blair in 1997, when I decided to leave Britain. Looks like it will be 172, so closer than aristaeus.

I’ve seen no cogent explanation so far… Surely George Galloway provided the answer you seek - they are 2 sides of the same arse so what is the point of voting?. All that has happened is that one centre-left party has been replaced by another - nothing much is going to change. There will still be record levels of taxes, record levels of spending, woke EDI nonsense permeating every part of life, more and more control and less and less people taking responsibility. So why get out of bed and vote?
