It clearly exists as per my up to date quote Stop being pedantic about nothing I train people in benefits for a living, so I know what I'm talking about. If by clarifying inaccuracies isn't important to you I'm sorry, nothing personal but facts are important to me, more important than opinions. Forgive me but sometimes even when the facts are smacking you around the face you seem to prefer opinion. I agree facts are very important it is the ability of the left to ignore inconvenient ones that tells the tale.

View AttachmentIs this one of a series of final hammer blows for the Conservatives ? The Sunday Times come out in support of Labour, who would ever have believed it ? Pretty much anyone that's actually read The Times in the past decade. It's been drifting leftwards for years. Shame, it used to be a serious paper.

Why are transgender issues suddenly taking up so much attention? How come the UK managed to survive before LGBTQIA+ became political, and how come I can now rattle off those eight characters without resorting to copy and paste? Aren’t there more pressing problems facing the UK than devising more legislation over what toilet a person can use…? It's a problem affecting 50% of the population so it's majorly pressing Never been a problem for me, or anyone that I've encountered.
Thinking about it, I guess I've only become aware of the topic since it's been made an issue by desperate Tories looking for something to derail the probable Labour landslide...

Do you have a penis , wear a dress , call yourself Patricia ? If so do you try to use the female changing rooms at the local gym ? If not and would use the male changing room it wouldn't be a problem for you

This trans nonsense is going to explode under a woke Labour government.

Dont know many feminists? - you must have heard of JK Rowling or Rosie Duffield, or perhaps Julie Bindel? I've heard of JK Rowling, but not the others, and can confidently say that I've not met any of them.
I concede that I do know some men and women who have said they support women's rights and believe in the equality of the sexes, which — I think I correctly understand — could be classed as feminism.
I don't know how strongly they hold their views, or whether current Tory-campaigner inspired gender issues have affected them. Or if any of this has to do with my querying the relevance of the topic to our daily lives...

This trans nonsense is going to explode under a woke Labour government. Shame. You've been doing so well in your last few posts in not using the W word — are you aware of its actual definition?
As usual, you exaggerate, but I think I'd edge towards your view that this Tory-inspired trans furore is largely nonsense...

The 'W' word! LOL, Is it offensive to say 'woke' now? Listen Pat, anyone who says a man suddenly becomes a woman if he puts a dress on, is woke. And believe me, that's the least offensive word I'd call them.

I wouldn't (and didn't) say the word was offensive — it's just I find the ignorant and frequent use of the word is becoming laughably noticeable.
Despite the idea supposedly originated by Homer that “clothes maketh the man”, I don't think that's necessarily true in any context — for men or for women...

How very virtuous of you to dismiss safe spaces for women and girls with such ease.

We actually donate to, and support, Refuge** — it's a practical way to protect vulnerable women without misrepresenting and trivialising a larger problem for political ends...
