It is all rather odd, Farage is today explaining how Reform would address taxation, immigration, education and Brexit benefits, he is enthusiastic and is making an effort to win voters, Reform may, if extremely lucky, gain up to 7 seats. Sir Ed Davey, having given feeble excuses for not doing his job during the Post Office scandal is pictured making sandcastles on Broadstairs beach and is predicted to gain up to 50+ seats.
No wonder we are fucked.

Not sure if I agree with that. If Labour win then it would seem reasonable for them to have a working majority to carry forward their programme. The problem is I think their programme will be a disaster for the country and will lead to a form of Sovietisation where truth will be a political commodity under some form of control by government or agencies and net zero will be strengthened with all the associated restrictions that will come with that and the economic damage. Immigration will be a whole new ball game and will be epitomised by the government's unwillingness and inability to structure any sort of control as we slide into ever greater EU alignment. An 80 seat majority has been enough to break Britain. Perhaps a 1945-style rejection of the travails of the past 14 years could be the precursor to a happier future for the UK… I am old enough to remember when you could walk through the streets of London and hear the people around you speak English. I have not heard another person speak English in Newport's two LIDL stores for over a decade. Those who can seem subdued and their voices are drowned out by voices clearly off a rubber boat I don't know how Starmer can fuck this country up more than Blair succeeded in doing but with polls now showing Sunak is going to lose his seat he's certainly about to be handed all the rope he needs Liz Truss was far too overoptimistic If I get the castor bean seeds in I might have time before the riots start

But you're a fanatical EUphile who will stop at nothing to support the Reich, which includes posting lies and trolling the board.

I thought you had more intelligent people to converse with? Or, have you come because your anti-right voice is essential, in case Mr Farage et al actually WIN?

Whereas the others say as little as possible hoping nobody will notice and once, they get power, then can do as they wish once they are the management, while they and the media make out that is what you voted for. I think not, we are a bit wise to that one. All the Farage is doing is picking up voters who have no home.

Well yes, a crisis exposes your weakness (ie failing to regulate the financial markets properly), and it also allows your opponents to push bullshit narratives (ie Labour caused the financial crisis). Anybody can look good during the good times. If it wasn't for COVID Boris and Trump would still be in power because they were both streets ahead in the polls.

Yet New Labour would almost certainly have won the 2010 election but for the International Financial Meltdown. you mean the one he couldn’t be arsed to regulate the banks over just like the treasury couldn’t be arsed to monitor and regukate dodgy pension investments before Liz Truss took over They didn't win, largely down to Tories lies and insinuations, so we will never know how it would have turned out. What the knockers never do is to try to analyze how thing would have been for all Western economies if there had never been an International Financial Meltdown. Which was incidentally forced upon the West by American failure to rescue their Banks in the first place.
