Apart from anything else this is incredibly bad politics by Sunak.
A D-Day event should be an absolute gift for a PM during a struggling election campaign, just turn up, look solemn and respectful and you get a days worth of positive headlines and photo ops.
Yet somehow Sunak manages to miss an open goal and put it in his own net instead.
I think Labour might have to recall Agent Sunak, he's in serious danger of blowing his cover.
