...Of course the advantage the Tories have is that they're not interested in fixing the country. Followed by: What massive spending spree is that? I wish they would say they were going to pay doctors properly, fix schools, mend roads, upgrade the power network and sort out hospital after care and mental health.
But to date I have heard no such plans, so have your little scoff but brighten my day by telling me what they are saying they'll fix. So you don't like the Tories because they have no interest in fixing the country. But you like Labour even though they have no interest in fixing the country. You're doing well today, Zany!🤣 Do you ever have anything to add to the conversation? Perhaps you could highlight in blue or something.

LOL - you think that Labour are going to go on their massive spending spree without raising taxes?.. ah bless.. What massive spending spree is that? I wish they would say they were going to pay doctors properly, fix schools, mend roads, upgrade the power network and sort out hospital after care and mental health. But to date I have heard no such plans, so have your little scoff but brighten my day by telling me what they are saying they'll fix. Point to a single policy area where they are not suggesting that spending more money would improve it? I'll give you an example - they claim that they will decarbonise the energy system by 2030. This would require an additional £15 billion a year of additional investment until 2030 (a total of £93 Billion). Where is the money coming from?

Properly develop the national grid and use renewable energy to protect us from the vagaries of fossil fuels. If we learnt nothing else last year..... I believe its being funded by investment not tax.

Ah yes, a well-run nationalised industry that will benefit the country.... but wait now they are saying it will be a "investment vehicle" and not an "energy company". Then there was the fanfare of the "logo launch". Turns out the "logo" is a 57p stock image which they won't be able to use because another company is already using it as their logo... doesn't exactly inspire confidence does it?

Apparently the media are sitting on a huge story about a top Labour politician, the rumour is they are deciding if they pull the trigger before or after the election. My guess is after... because nothing is going to stop Labour now. ?? Do you remember how the press sat on the lockdown party story for months and waited for the right time? Rumours are the press are sat on a story about a senior Labour politician getting a women pregnant... while his wife was pregnant lol.

GB Energy is going to be funded to the tune of £8 Billion - where is the other £85 Billion coming from?

Depends how much value you put in a logo. But I say the way its run now is of far greater concern. The need to urgently build pylons across East Anglia because they just noticed all those wind turbines in the wash. That to me sounds far more damning than having to change a logo. Indeed the choice of logo is only because the election was called so suddenly. But mostly from my point of view, I lean towards energy independency offered by wind energy and the cheaper power this will eventually lead to.

In more detail, wind energy is cheaper to produce than gas, so if we continue to pay the same as we were for gas (Not the crazy Putin prices) the difference can be used to pay for the development. No more Tory short termism please.
