Sunaks claims were bullshit - but what do you expect in an election campaign?. Do you think Labours claims are any more truthful? Thank you. Yours views of Sunak match mine, but I do expect better. The complaint about Sir Kier is that he makes no claims.

Well done to ITN - BBC News and SKY News for exposing Rishi Sunak's claims as lies
Though the mainstream media were carefull not actually state they were lies, it was very much inferred
The Tories are becoming well known now for their record of lies during prominent campaigns, it was the lie of "its all Labours fault" which helped them to scrape into power in 2010, with the lie that Labour had squandered taxpayers money, when in reality it was the unprecidented world-wide financial crisis and recession which followed which was the cause of the deficit.
The lies were rolled out again in 2016 wth the bus adverts claiming firstly that we paid £350 Million per week to the EU, then claiming that the NHS would benefit from that money.
Conservative wins are largely based on dirty politics and lies - and Rishi Sunak is a liar

Yes, until the time he is proven wrong. I usually expect the lesser Tory tit heads to indulge in denigration. Our lying MP was found to be lying five minutes after she took the oath to collect another what was it in the end half a million in salary and expenses. Sorry, expecting me to trust this shitbag that did fuck all about islamic rapists on the streets of our northern towns when he had the chance isn’t good enough If I had some background to your post, I might understand it.

Enthusiastic participation in the EU, (Blair wanted us to join the euro) Illegal wars which have resulted in massive destabilisation in the middle east. Ramping up immigration in order to Quote " stick it up the Tories". Selling our gold reserves at rock bottom prices. Trashing personal pension schemes by taxing the dividends. Is that the last positive Labour Government that you are referring to? When (if) the time is right. What illegal wars?? The need for more trained and professional people in an expanding economy. (the stick it up the Tories was a wind-up comment meant to irritate Tories). Find out what the money from the sales was used for, including the ongoing reduction in interest payments on the national debt. Gold just sits in the reserves, it doesn't involve itself in the economy while the loss of income from Thatcher's selling off of our Oil and Gas reserves etc. are a significant and an ongoing financial loss to the economy every year that started in 1989. The interest was unearned income taxable in the same way Thatcher made interest on savings in the bank taxable. Pension holidays taken by employers. The fall in the stock markets and the growing interest in Early Retirement trashed the pension schemes, plus oldies like myself (85) still drawing on my private pension well after I was expected to have left this world. I am referring to the real world of ending the deliberate 'Boom and Bust' economic destabilizations caused by Governments (last used by the Tories) using inflation and deflation to control the economy. Hitting mortgage holders with 15% interest rates. The removal of the big black economic holes in the NHS and State education inherited from the Tories in 1997.

Apparently the media are sitting on a huge story about a top Labour politician, the rumour is they are deciding if they pull the trigger before or after the election. My guess is after... because nothing is going to stop Labour now.

Do you know that amuses the hell out of myself and several others, if you knock off a penny or two on tax it will somehow reverse the cost of living crisis, erm no it won't, on the other hand if you increase it, it will also cure the cost of living crisis, erm no it won't. The complete bollox they come out with daily is actually beyond any reason.

New Labour kept the slimy ever failing Tories out of office for the longest period of time in their history. Its little wonder Tory supporters are shitting themselves at the possibility of the next Labour government taking lessons from New Labour.I'm pissed off at the persistent failures of Tory governments, and the unbelievable naivety of the easily fooled voters who keep reelecting them. What are you on about?
The next Labour government taking lessons from New Labour?
WTF so the next Labour government aren't the New Labour government?
They are the next Labour government taking lessons from New Labour.
Think it's more than booze you need to lay off.
There cannot be another New Labour government, the last one was destroyed by Tory lies and insinuated lies. A new Labour government could learn from the positives in New Labour, which appears to be what Starmer would do if elected.

AIUI, the existing tax system will, if left in place, increase the tax take.
