Why do you zero in on Daily Mail readers? Serious question btw... The poor little Hamas boys are always having a nervous breakdown over the Daily Mail. He's also anti-GB News and wants it banned. Still, I'm sure most of the Islamists and terrorist loving far-left are on the scrounge. What was it Anjem (Andy) Choudary said? Oh right "you work and give us money". I've often wondered why some people, usually lefties, sneer at the Daily Mail. Mrs R likes the Mail especially the Sunday Mail, it's not my paper of choice but seems OK. Too many adverts but the news content is OK and the Mail on-line often mentions stories that other newspapers and news agencies decline to comment on/ignore. Also, it's worth pointing out to these sneering lefties that considering we're in a digital age where most people get news and indeed gossip from the device of their choice, The Daily Mail is still one of the largest circulating newspapers in the country, so it must be doing something right, I mean apart from pissing off lefties which is never a bad thing.

Why do you zero in on Daily Mail readers? Serious question btw... The Daily Mail - where to begin Of all the newspapers with a political bias, it is the Daily Mail which stands out above all others, Left or Right, for printing half truths, misleading so called news, missing out facts vital to an overal picture, omitting information central to a story and simply making things up. Their never ending campaign of hate against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is a good example, in this weekends editions you will find the headline ... "How Harry and Meghan were welcomed to Nigeria by a fugitive airline boss wanted in the US over $20M money laundering operation". After explaining to readers what a bad man Mr Onyema is, and how he is wanted in the US for suspected money laundering, and well into the long read, the "news" paper then admits that "there is no suggestion that Harry and Meghan knew of Mr Onyema s past. So what was the point of printing the story ? ... a nonsense story ... a story about nothing ... an insinuation, and yet another Daily Mail article putting the couple in a bad light, I call it vindictive. All newspapers have a political bias, who knew. But, in my experience the one newspaper that stands out as a towering example of bias, a testament to the left, is without a shadow of doubt the Guardian, which was correctly described by Blackadder as 'soft, strong and thoroughly absorbent'. Your opening paragraph could easilly be referring to the BBC, a left wing organisation who are forced to defend accusations of bias, occasionally successfully, on a weekly basis. Regarding Harry & Meghan, you may find if you could be bothered to look, that many newspapers and news organisations have been less then complimentary about them and their trip to Nigeria, but hey, lets focus on the Daily Mail which I'm sure, much to your left wing angst, is one of the most successful newspapers in the country. And for the record regarding Harry and Meghan, I don't like or dislike them, they mean absolutely nothing to me.

Why do you zero in on Daily Mail readers? Serious question btw... Because in 2010 the Daily Mail tried to convince voters that the country's economic problems were because of the unemployed. In 2024 they're trying to convince voters it's the fault of the disabled. You can see from the comments on this thread that some people actually believe that. Meanwhile the government and their cronies helped themselves to money, and the same people turned a blind eye... 2010! Andrew, surely the Daily Mail cant be all that bad if you have to go back 14 years to find a story to criticise? I suspect I could find several stories from the left wing press to criticise, from yesterday.

The Guardian is an intelligent newspaper which leans to the Left, the same as The Telegraph and Times are intelligent newspapers which lean Right.
The Daily Mail is not in the same class

Do you suffer from the ups and downs of ADHD, how about the ups and downs of multiple sclerosis, would you like that treated as an up and down of daily life. The fact we are finally treating mental illness as another illness is bloody good, imagine telling someone with angina to pull themselves together and get over it. Most mental illness is just chemical imbalances just like diabetes or Parkinson's. 20 years ago were you aware of tens of thousands of people wandering around with a disability? - or did you just think they were normal people with the up's and down's of normal life? As one of those people I was very aware that I was different and struggled, I would have welcomed the drugs ADHD sufferers now get to help them concentrate. I would have welcomed even more a recognition of my condition. Twenty years ago you covered up your struggles because of the intolerance shown towards anyone not 'normal'. Thank god we don't do that anymore. That you would like that to continue I find very disappointing.

No. I wanted help not handouts, but there are those with much worse symptoms than me you should be entitled to welfare handouts, just the same as those with physical disabilities. Or perhaps you would like to stop welfare handouts to those with physical disabilities as well.

No. I wanted help not handouts, but there are those with much worse symptoms than me you should be entitled to welfare handouts, just the same as those with physical disabilities. Or perhaps you would like to stop welfare handouts to those with physical disabilities as well. Well the discussion is about the massive increase in welfare handouts - an increase out of all proportion to any possible actual increase in disability. Are you in favour of extending disability payments to anyone with a hint of anxiety? - where is the money coming from?

The Guardian is an intelligent newspaper which leans to the Left, the same as The Telegraph and Times are intelligent newspapers which lean Right. The Daily Mail is not in the same class So many Guardian articles read like they were put together by left wing undergraduates during lunch break…imo. Strangely enough the Guardian has very good articles about boxing . You know what you are getting with the Mail. It’s political gossip . If ‘ Take a break’ did politics , that’s how they would do it .

Due to the Guardian being unprofitable they rely on articles by journalism students whose only payment is their name under the title. The whole model is built on not paying for much of their content.
