Let me just point out again that the caring lefties and Muslims are quite muted when innocent Muslims are killed by other Muslims .

Of course the anti Israel rabble support Hamas . Where are / were the banners demanding the release of hostages , the perpetrators and Hamas officials who conspired in the attacks on Israel to be given up by Hamas and for Hamas to stop using Palestinians as human shields. The best any anti Israel posters has come up with so far is that hamas will ignore it . They just push Hamas' propaganda and demand we sympathise with them. They literally project their own intentions onto those they hate. Commies and Islamists. Yuck!

Looks like only I'm going to be 50% happy — ie, Hall won't be elected. Unfortunately, Khan will be. So, unless we get a Labour government that insists London is professionally run, we're in for another four years of a Mayor who's less popular than his party...

One Hundred and Thirty Israeli hostages still held Thirty Four Thousand, Six Hundred and Fifty Four Palestinians killed Seventy Seven Thousand, Nine Hundred and Eight Palesinians wounded, injured and permanantly disabled Entire towns, entire citys demolished, turned into heaps of rubble, homes, shops, schools, everything destroyed Water turned off - electricity switched off - not enough food - not enough medical help - famine The Israeli's are punishing the entire Palestinian population, including the innocent, including children and infants

I can't wait for when we have must love mossies week to come about I'm sure there are a lot of Muslims from older generations who came here to escape from the backwards. Sadly, our universities and overall Woke establishment radicalised their kids and grandkids. It was bound to happen. If I was a young man from a Muslim background I'd probably look at Islamism as tough and preferable over to the rest of the fluffy Woke ideologies. I guess it's just a matter of time now.

So, despite the rumours of dissatisfaction over Khan, and that ULEZ will see a Tory victory, not only does Labour win the London Mayor contest, but they win it with an increased share of the vote.
AND before any conspiracy theories about Muslims are posted, Khan won in areas where the population is overwhelmingly white British, including in Kensington and Chelsea.
If you want to blame something or someone, why not aim your blame where it REALLY belongs, to 10 Downing Street and the Tories.

You will need it and that's a safe bet for sure..

I suspect that Susan Halls downfall was the current unpopularity of the Tories.
However, it's worth mentioning that this was the lowest turnout since 2012 at just 40 odd percent.
So, as ever, "None of the above" actually won.

I think you're right in that the state of the party didn't help her. However she also came across as inept and nasty. I'm not saying that another candidate would have won, but I do think a better candidate would have had a chance.

Possibly, but London, like most major cities, has always been a Labour town. I admit that it did not help that the Tories put up the Chairwoman of the Little Snoring Flower Arranging Committee as their candidate, but it would have been a tough call whomever stood in the Conservative interest.
I dare say that we are all doomed and that the Asiatic hordes are already storming the beaches and demanding free money from the DHS, but on the other hand, the lass on the next allotment has offered me dozens of raspberry canes in return for the loan of my mower. Her son asked if that meant he was going to have to do the mowing and his mum asked if he thought that she was asking his opinion.

The actions of Hamas is why Israel reacted in the way it did . Hamas was and is responsible. Had Hamas not killed, raped and snatched Israelis then Israel would not have invaded Gaza . Had Hamas sent back the hostages , not used civilians as human shields and given up the perpetrators then Israel would not have reacted as forcefully after the event . Lefties like you live in a fantasy world . One that you never seem to turn in when Muslims murder other Muslims .

Susan Hall was better than Shaun Bailey, but then again, everybody is better than Shaun Bailey.
The turn out was low because London is a successful town and provided that the police are reasonably competent (which they are) and the buses run (which they do) then the mayor need be nothing more than an amusing figure head
