Khanages re-election has given him the green light to do what he wants.Expect a lot more of this kind of thing and if you drive a car sell it as he won't be letting you drive it for much longer...... Failing upwards? London's faltering 'night-tsar' Amy Lamé receives 4.5 per cent payrise and will now take home £132,000-a-year despite London's declining nightlife and backlash over City Hall-funded trips to Australia, Italy and Spain......

If the people of London did not agree with Sadiq Khan, or did not like him, or if they believed his policies were not good for the people of London, they would not have voted him back into the office of Mayor.
Its as simple as that
Its called democracy, and in a another 4 years from now, the people of London will have their next opportunity of either endorsing another Labour Mayor, or choosing a different Mayor from a different political party.
Its because both Khan, and people like Andy Burnham actually do things for ordinary people, like those that cannot aford a mortgage or ridiculous property prices, like people who want cheaper and better public transport, or more help with childcare so that people can go out to work.

Terrorism is good. Terrorism is success. Terrorism is wonderful. Terrorism is glory. Terrorism and the slaughtering of civilian party goers is the answer. Terrorism is supported by the state. Bananas are not.
This is basically what is being taught to the young today.

An Iranian exile is arrested for waving an England flag and eating a banana. Sure, it does sound like something out of a comedy sketch, but in reality it's actually very depressing, especially when Marxists and Hamas supporters are praised by our Universities and supported by our two-tier corrupt police.

As for "Doing things for ordinary people" I can only wonder which planet you inhabit because it sure as shit ain't this one.

This is cheap and better public transport according to lefties? <<In 2016, when Mr Khan was first elected Mayor of London, a single journey cash ticket – meaning a paper ticket bought by cash or card – cost £4.90 in central London, but today the cost is £6.70. When paying with a contactless card or oyster card, the same zone one journey costs £2.80 at peak time and £2.70 off peak . Prices for both contactless and card travel have been rising steadily over the past decade but in 2022 Mr Khan put in place a blanket price for all cash single tickets at £6.70 for all of London. It means that those paying by cash now pay double the amount paid by card users in the centre of the capital for a single journey both on and off peak.>><<London buses are getting “more dangerous” under Sadiq Khan’s premiership, public transport experts and campaigners have claimed.
Collisions are higher on average than they were between 2014 and 2023 because new low speed limits put pressure on drivers to go faster when they can in order to keep up with their schedule, critics have argued.
Official figures show that the distance covered by London buses has gone down since the pandemic but the number of collisions has increased, meaning buses are injuring more people per mile travelled.
Between 2014 and 2023, London averaged 26,384 bus collisions per year, according to an analysis of TfL figures. In 2023, that number rose to 28,114 despite buses making fewer journeys.
In the financial year 2016 to 2017, London buses were operated over a total distance of 492 million kilometres, according to TfL data. Between 2022 and 2023, it was 457 million kilometres: a decrease of 7 per cent.>>

Indeed. "Cheaper and better public transport" my arse. It costs an absolute fortune... When it's running and not on strike/engineering works/insert some other excuse here etc. etc.

It seems that the other 5 out of 6 were not against him being reelected, or they would have voted against him. Obvious really.

I can't see that Khan has done that much. He has built 150,000 new homes in London, but that is over 8 years and for a population of more than 9 million people. And if he has done anything for the police force other than to stab it in the back, I have not noticed.
That said, the other tossers are worse.
Except for Femy Amin, the be kind to animals lady, for whom I voted
