So not a Starmer / Labour Policy at all - there's a shock. Just a fanciful claim (might be over generous there, more likely it is a flat out lie) made by a disgruntled Tory so poorly thought of he is standing down rather than face the electorate, based on something the devolved Labour administration in Wales are doing. Oh, and you'd think someone who works in the aviation industry would know that a Satellite is NOT a Drone. All The Best

In the past council tax revaluations have been considered and after trials they have been shown to serve no purpose. The current tax bands work well and there is an appeals procedure for those who feel they are in the wrong band. Revaluation would be awfully costly and achieve precisely nothing. If councils need more tax the 5% limit to annual rises needs removing, particularly during times of high inflation.

Same as usual.

I think that it will be worse under Labour, we have seen bumbling and incompetent Tory Prime Ministers come and go, Cameron, May, Johnson, Sunak, all of them weak and useless, but with the exception of May none of them intent of the destruction of our country's values and lifestyle. However, Starmer is a leftie, he will immediately engage in a class war, screw people over taxes and splurge our money on rubbish, we have an idea of his malignancy when he said in 2022 that Labour in Wales was leading the way, he will make England as poor as Wales.
Nick Timothy writes in the DT today, That sums it up.

Waste of money if true, we pay council tax on property / land ownership, it's irrelevant whether you have gardens or not though for rain water capture better to have gardens. Of course it's a waste of money. That's what labour does when they are steering the ship.

Labour have not changed - last time they were in they gave an amnesty to IRA terrorists and now they want to drag UK veterans through the courts. Leopard - spots..

Labour's treatment of, and support for, both the Armed Forces and Veterans has always, IMO, been nothing short of shameful. That said, the Torys' record for the last 14 years is pretty fucking shambolic too. Being honest about it, the Tories did not introduce the Legacy Act to protect Soldiers from Criminal Charges / Records; they introduced it to protect their government from paying out damages if any of those soldiers were found guilty. Furthermore, I am 100% certain that had it been a Labour government putting the Legacy Act on the Statute Books the Tories would have called it out as such, and likely opposed it. For the record, I am of the opinion it is an all or nothing situation; either everyone who may have committed crimes in The Troubles is protected from prosecution, or no one should be. All The Best

Don't forget that Sir Keir is on record as stating that Labour's Wales is a blueprint on how to run a country

Don't forget that Sir Keir is on record as stating that Labour's Wales is a blueprint on how to run a countryWell that was 2022. In 2023 he refused to commit Labour top being a carbon-copy of Welsh Labour, even the BBC pointed out this change of stance: www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-politics-67019443Shall we just childishly take comments made by Tories 3+ years back, ignore that the world has changed since then, and lie about that being their permanent plan for after the next General Election too? Or do we bring a bit or grown-up perspective to this and accept people, and political parties, can change their views, and plans, over time? All The Best

All The Best 2022 was a mere two years ago , Sir Keir was already leader and on record admiring Welsh labour Are you confirming his moniker Sir Flip FlopAs for your attempt to excuse him in the BBC article where he apparently ''refused to confirm'' - that means precisely nothing and is laughable - worthy of C2 Sir Keir is currently ''refusing to deny '' that there are incoming huge rafts of tax rises that will be imposed by Labour and has contradicted and ''refused to deny'' that Council tax increases and revaluations are coming despite one of his circle saying they do not intend them
