"COULD" not WOULD. which IMO is just intentionally subtle insinuated anti-Rayner propaganda. Rayner's ideas are not party policy anyway. Policy Exchange is a British conservative think tank based in London, with members in the Conservative Party. The ginger growler is shadow deputy PM ( hoping to drop the shadow) and you have the audacity to pretend that her plan is not party policy? Unbelievable naivety from a far lefty Don't know why you have such a horrible gob, you must be hell to live with. Thankfully that's your problem not mine. Rayner's plan is a "proposal", still in its infancy. pro·posal noun "a plan or suggestion, especially a formal or written one, put forward for consideration by others:"

When they dont do anything meaningful they will blame the tories, as the tories always blame labour. The political system is like turkeys, us, the public, voting for christmas, whoever governs are on a different planet to the rest of us. We can only vote for more of the same, passing off promises, pledges or intentions is easy for those without a conscience. Like the tories, whos manifesto was a litany of lies in 2019.
Labour wont last, there will be more against them than for them, that when the ordionary voter who doesnt follow politics realises they have voted for more of the same, labour will be done.
Its like we are run by the Romans in jesuses time. We are taxed to the hilt, but have no say in anything. Revolution ...its the only thing that can change owt.
The sooner the better, it will take another monumental eff up though, coming soon from labour.

If Labour win the general election, and if they begin to turn around the NHS and bring down waiting lists ( just like they did last time ), would the critics take back their criticism. ? If by taking our railways back into public ownership, our railways become more reliable, more punctual and a more viable and attractive way of getting around, would the Labour critics take back their words that "it wont work". If a new publicly owned "Great British Energy Company" helps to drive down energy costs, would those that criticise the idea be happy. ? If a "Border Force Command" makes a difference to the small boats problem, would those that say "it wont work" take back their words. ? Is it not the case that where a sitting government has FAILED, after been in government for 14 years, that its time for a different government. ?

It largely depends on what other things they did to bring about those changes. If energy costs come down but the public are limited as regards how much, and when, they can use it then there is a problem. Making a difference to the small boats problem is very much a matter of degree, for most people almost total cessation is the desired outcome, anything less is tinkering. There have been many governments over the past 14 years and largely they have been a progression of that government which most of us were misled to vote for enough to believe would work wonders in 97

'If' is doing a lot of heavy lifting there - how likely do you actually think it is that those pledges are going to achieved?. For example are you expecting illegal immigration across the Channel to fall?
