If we didn't have such people ready to do violence on our behalf, we'd have rough men ready to do violence to us, to impose tyranny. It isn't warmongering to stand up to warmongers. We are just caught up working as Uncle Sam's depute and being thrown the odd bone for good behaviour.
We get some contracts out of it, but get told what to do on many matters. Someone was saying we are even locked into the ECHR by reason of the membership is needed to keep the Good Friday Agreement and if we broke that the US would come down heavy on us. All sorts of unlikely repercussions happen due to this relationship.
The reason it appears they are so desperate to win agaisnt Russia is they think if they lose then that would set a precedent which would lead to a collapse of the Western hegemony. Like the big man never loses so no one is going to try it on until he does.
I think we should think further ahead and understand Russia and China are going to be very powerful in the future. It's going to flip. Like the Brits, the US empire is finished, or on its last legs. The UK has flexibility though. It can pick its own partner countries and decide how closely it will work with them

They were weak and helpless at the time as the Western powers and corrupt KGB had stolen the country's wealth. Like in China when the KMT looted their gold and stashed it in Taiwan. Russia was full of corruption and China was as well. President Xi and President Putin though are like the Dynamic Duo. They came down hard on corruption, which of course had Western links, so I guess that hurt CIA OPs. They rebuilt their countries and made them economically strong and now they tool up with the latest arms to push back. I can understand the feeling. I feel very uneasy about the Islamification of London, but should that happen in the adjoining towns to where I live, then the concern would multiply. It's just human nature.
The problem for the UK and the US is they are going to lose. We could step out of the fight now and may be forgiven by Russia and respected by China which would help our economy. We would also get shit from the US, but the way I see it is the Brits should grow a backbone and seek what is good for them. If we were the country who initiated peace in Ukraine by pulling out, then that would gain us a lot of credibility in the wider world, especially the Brics. We can not ignore Brics. It's not even talked about in Western media. That's what the bastards think of you. They just lie. Brics is growing very strong now. They have the Saudis backing them now.
