So if those confronted by the police in Whitehall the other day had been shooting flares and fireworks the Police would have left them alone?..

I guess it's fair to say, they were tuned up on drugs and alcohol plus adrenalin at the thought of a ruck with the old bill, just because they used St Georges day as an excuse it seems unfair on everyone else who would just like to enjoy it with friends and a few events getting children involved. Getting it banned because a few nutcases cannot hold their drink and drugs definitely seems a bit extreme for everyone else involved with making it a fun day for kids and adults.

What I am saying is that letting off fireworks is normal for Algerian football fans But after doing some research, I can go further and categorically state that these fans did no harm to anyone or any property, they were as one report put it "in high spirits". They were not hooligans, unlike Tommy Robinsons mob Letting off fireworks in public is hooliganism. Even if they are Africans who apparently are unaware of it . If they ( according to you) did no damage , that is entirely by luck.
