EU come crawling back to the UK...

The offer was involving only an agreement berween two countries...the UK and one other. Young people cannot leave that country.
It was simply a suggestion and once again the young people of the UK have their opportunities stopped. They used to be able to study in one country and travel freely around Europe. Language, architectural, marketing ,history and geography students used to profit easily.

Pity there are still enough slow learners to still inhibit opportunity for others.

We might get a mass of 18 year old ‘ boys’ with dodgy accents that look 40 years old ,if we agree.

Fact is, this is about the European Commission trying to take over and control arrangements some individual nation states have already agreed with us.

Both the Tories and Labour have dismissed the idea.

We left the EU to regain control.

There are EU nation states i might value, and others i see as a collection of freeloading criminals thugs vagabonds and gypsies.

Well my dear, after a noisy group of political wannabes played dirty with lies, data corruption and empty promises, finally gaiined the "sovereignty" they expected to allow them to do whatever they wanted including proroguing Parliament and lying to the Queen, have now have had nearly 8 years to plan and put into practose the nationn of their dreams unencumbered by allied and agreed regulation, the only question remains...

Is the life of the individual and the life of the nation better or worse than it was when inside the EU?
If better, you dont need access to European study or travel.

OTOH the nation cannot wait for a general election because the idiots who persuaded you to create problems you never had before, have completely failed to make any progress promised by Brexit. They have made progress making life more complicated, more expensive and more restricted.

So please dont tell me about EU members being untrustworthy. They are all wise enough to refrain fron following the fools who persuaded you to leave. And none tried to shut down their democratic voice.

So Brexit was not the Nirvana you were promised.
You still have the left which,BTW, has nothing to do with the EU, and you created unnecessary issues with, as you put it, tried to punish you.

So I suppose you will blame the EU for not wanting to seriously invest in the UK economy, for your lack of new and improved free trade deals uncluding the failure of one with Canada, close cultural and military ally.
It must be the EU's fault that the justice system in the UK is one of the slowest in the world, that the health system is in intensive care, that all those new policemen get a mere 6 weeks training . Not to mention thw dumping of minimum amounts of effluent allowed in the EU has allowed maximum amount of effluent in UK waters.
All that bright new world promised by those who turned out to be selfish liars and corrupt as a third world election manipulator, doesnt really exist.
Brexit has done nothing to make life better in the UK.
And yet you still swallow the kool-aid.
Best to be as honest as those hundrreds of thousands of people who now admit the whole thing was a mistake.

And you should stop blaming everyone for your failure. You got what you wanted. You just didnt listen to those who told you that the EU had nothing to do with your own problems, evidenced by the fact that you still have them, and have added to them.
Lastly I think you will find that it was the UK who crawled back to the EU and begged to be allowed back into the Horizon programme.
