For what it’s worth IMO the US will start to pressure Israel at the point where Israel has achieved the objectives it feels it can . Iran backed off. Hamas has managed to goad Israel into turning Gaza into rubble . Soon Israel will pick up where it left off with Saudi . Israel has effectively won the war Hamas started. Convince me otherwise . |

I have been wondering what advice the rabbi of the Jewish man in question might have given him had he been consulted. There have been a lot of pro-Palestinian protests at Columbia University (an Ivy league university in New York), because of which Jewish rabbis are urging Jewish students to stay home and avoid confrontation. Of course, anyone else who suggests that avoiding the protests is the wisest course will be accused of wanting to create no-go areas for Jews. By definition areas where Jews are not allowed to go are 'no-go' areas.
