Not a good idea given the present situation,but since people are forced halal meat and a bunch of daft old sods get to reside in the worlds best drinking and eating club whilst influencing laws I don’t expect anything to happen. The sooner this becomes a secular state the better. |

Just seen that Braverman has called for Rowley to resign as met chief over this affair.
I still maintain the the cop at the centre of this was trying to do his job whilst under pressure.

Indeed they do. The question is why do they want to walk through a pro-Palestine protest? Why shouldn't they? - it's a free country. If you are saying that the pro-Palestine protestors are likely to be violent, then that is a job for the Police to sort out. So you'd be ok with someone in overtly Muslim attire walking through a Jewish parade, while obviously not being a part of said parade? For the record, I believe he should have been allowed to walk where he wanted, I am just wondering if you'd feel the same if the roles were reversed. All The Best |

..no I can't either.. They might had Black People been committing genocide on the BNP. All The Best That seems to say that Black people here can be held responsible for what black people do in any other country where black people rule. I would have thought that was anathema to the left |

All The Best According to most on here the parade is not overtly anything it is specifically pro Palestine and contains many Jews so Jews are not the focus of the demonstration it is Israel's government that are the problem. I can recall teh reporting of EDL marches where Muslims in full attire lined the streets and demonstrated. That was called counter demonstration which is not allowed for this man apparently. |

That man was obviously intent on causing a riot. A riot that would have played right into Israeli hands and those of their apologists. A riot that would have created havoc in the communities the marchers were going through. All the cop was doing was explaining that, to attempt to wade into the marchers, while displaying his Jewishness for all the world to see was a dangerous, and very stupid, thing to do. It was, surely, an act of pure provocation. An act that should have had him arrested if he persisted with the craziness. The police have a tough enough job to do without having to deal with that sort of playacting. It was a pro-Palestinian march, not a pro-Hamas march. I know of no violence that occurred, and that's because the police were not letting people interrupt the march with intent to inflame tensions and invite confrontation. On previous 'Pro Palestine' marches police have ignored Hamas flags, Isis, flags, and swastikas. They have however ordered the removal of an Israeli flag (In Trafalgar Square) and threatened to arrest a Jewish man for looking Jewish. Is anyone familiar with 1930's Germany?. Wouldn’t they have to be at least 90 to have any meaningful recollection…? |

On previous 'Pro Palestine' marches police have ignored Hamas flags, Isis, flags, and swastikas. They have however ordered the removal of an Israeli flag (In Trafalgar Square) and threatened to arrest a Jewish man for looking Jewish. Is anyone familiar with 1930's Germany?. Wouldn’t they have to be at least 90 to have any meaningful recollection…? BLM supported Hamas during their terrorist attack which killed, raped and kidnapped civilians and just prior to that they too behaved violently and destructively on the streets of London using one incident in the USA as the excuse. I understand it's all a laugh to see this country trashed, but not everyone is amused. |
