Bye Bye SNP .......... LOL What makes you think that? If the SNP get their act together they could still win most seats. As it is, the latest poll has the party neck & neck with the Red Tories. That level of support would, probably, mean the loss of many seats, but the SNP could still come out winning a majority of seats. Doesn't look likely. One way they have a chance is to return to their raison d'etre, and focus on Independence. Such a platform will bring in lots of disgruntled Independistas. 2017 showed what happens when the SNP sidelines Independence. The latest (Norstat) poll puts both parties on 32%, but the main talking point is that the previous, Norstat poll, had Labour slightly ahead. This time round they dropped 4%. If the electorate can be persuaded that Labour is no friend of Scotland, the game really is on.

Scotland’s Net Zero Secretary has insisted she was not embarrassed at having to ditch a key climate change target – despite green campaigners branding the move the “worst environmental decision in the history” of devolution.

Humza Yousaf 'reported to Police Scotland for stirring up hate with foreign government claim'
A British armed forces veteran says the First Minister's description of the UK Government as 'foreign' should be looked into by police... but he claims officers are refusing to accept his complaint via email.
The SNP are completely finished if they don't get shut of him.

I reckon the decision to cosy up to the Greens was wrong and should never have happened. The SNP took on board some policies that were questionable, and, as a result, really took their eye off the, Independence, ball. Salmond successfully ran a minority government from 2007 to 2011. Why Sturgeon did not follow that precedent beggars belief.

The UK Government is foreign. It rules over us even though, for example, the Tories have been rejected since 1955. But, even under Labour Scotland is disregarded. As for the Veteran, I looked at the Express article that you gleaned the info from, and have to say that I see nothing wrong with what Yousaf is supposed to have said (the article has the remark in quotation marks, and we all know that the Express gets it right:D ). Yousaf spoke of an Independent Scotland therefore, in that scenario, his statement was a valid one to make.

All of the 2022 Census data have not been released yet. It will be interesting to see if that figure rises. I think, given the level of immigration from England, and the number of emigrating Scots, it might well drop. We shall see in due course
