Pointing out that someone with one X and one Y Chromosome is a biological male is NOT a hate crime; it is a Biological FACT.
If legislation prohibits the the pointing out of FACTS then that legislation is simply bad legislation.
However, denying someone the right to say "someone with one X and one Y Chromosome is a biological male" is itself a crime.
One thing Rowling is very, very right on is that Scotland's current legislation erodes protection and safe spaces for biological females.
It should be opposed by all sensible people on those two grounds alone.

I'd imagine that many policemen are going to love this new legislation. It's going to take them off the streets, away from criminals and bad weather, and put them in nice offices drinking tea and taking the p*** out of all the losers who ring in.

On the day that the hate bill became law a terrible act of graffiti occured on walls and building near the home of the First Minister in Dundee, a person or persons unknown made reference to his ethnicity and parentage in daubings in the area.
It is most unfortunate.

If you read the article it is not a sex shop as we knew them. It is a shop which looks like it is run by LGBT campaigner fascists, i.e. the ones who would grass you up anyway and the ones who would have told that prick to pass that law in the first place. Obviously they are hampered by the public's ridicule of their fucked ways. You get them on YT trying to bust people by asking for clarification on what they think so they can report it as a crime. JoG, you are correct in saying nowhere in English or Welsh law does it say you have a right not to be insulted. Indeed as appeal court judge Sir Stephen Sedley famously said... Free speech includes not only the inoffensive but the irritating, the eccentric, the contentious, the heretical, the unwelcome and the provocative. Freedom only to speak inoffensively is not a freedom worth having.
