Looks like it might be a rough road ahead of Sunak as he's coming up against growing criticism, but the question has to be, knowing how unpopular the Tories are right now, and how likely it is they're going to lose heavily in the upcoming election, who in their right mind would want to take over? Seems like another poisoned chalice to me. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-68597115

This is what happens when you put a Liberal in charge of the Tory party, the son of immigrants has no desire whatsoever to stop mass migration, even if it's illegal, he petrified of upsetting the Woke snowflake brigade, he secretly supports JSO, he's a complete and utter useless phoney, pretending to be a Tory.

A bigger issue (even more so than him essentially being a lefty and appointed a lefty chancellor) is that many will not vote for someone as wealthy as him and his wife thinking that he's ''out of touch'' with the man in the street

I wonder who made this phoney Chancellor Your pin up boy lol. Sunak was appointed chancellor by prime minister Boris Johnson in the 2020 cabinet reshuffle,

It's going to make no odds who's PM now - the Tories have lost and their MPs are standing down in droves.
So who in their right mind would want the job? Far better to take over as leader after the election.

Changing the leader again will make no difference to that.

If Labour had been in power during Covid, etc. they'd now be facing annihilation.

If Labour had been in power during Covid, etc. they'd now be facing annihilation. Unfortunately we can only go on how parties and people perform in real life, and 14 years of Tories in charge has brought the UK to the condition it is in now. Labour has not had its hands on UK levers of power since the Tories duped the LibDems into coalition. Fantasising or scaremongering over what Labour would have done compared to how the Tories actually did, seems pointless. My hope is that if Labour form the next government, it doesn’t get too bid a majority, and that it’s learned from watching the damage and hardship that weak and often dishonest leadership have caused the country…

Yes, and enjoyed it. I look forward to visiting again. But like most of the UK, it’s probably suffering from Brexit while it waits for the benefits of all those coming trade deals…

When, not if, the Tories lose the upcoming election Sunak will probably quit politics altogether. Is even his own seat safe?
Anyway, he's certainly got a cushy job waiting for him in his former banking-career.

But like most of the UK, it’s probably suffering from Brexit while it waits for the benefits of all those coming trade deals… So the dire performance of the NHS in Wales has nothing to do with those in charge (Labour) but everything to do with Brexit.. ..sorry, as excuses go that is crap and needs more work..
