Rather than give credit to the author he rips of their work thinking he sounds clever. And srb thinks he's an "intellectual giant" Lol. In no way did I claim full knowledge of that information in fact I introduced it as a good example of how the human condition works. As it happens most of that information I was already aware of partly because of my training, partly because of my long term interest and partly down to my personal research into the human condition. I'm reasonably sure that some of it is already known by many people even if they have not given it any deep thought.

Wiki helps him better understand the human condition.π My interest in the Human condition was first triggered by a young woman on a BBC programme in the 1970s called 'Tomorrows world'. She provided the information that the Amygdala worked as an early warning system that warned of danger and of perceived danger. It was obvious to me that the instantaneous reactions required to do that job meant that it built up a memory of actual and perceived dangers of its own. And did that outside of the much slower to react logical brain. In a second instance also around the 1970s I saw an old film of an awful experiment carried out on a human being. In a small auditorium partly surrounded by junior doctors, a man in a wheel chair was pushed in, clearly seen on a raised stage area. The 'victim' with a hole already prepared in his skull, had two steel needles pressed inches into his brain just to prove to the audience that the brain has no pain receptors. It followed that the brain could only recognise pain taking place outside of itself, but could not feel that pain. Once my interest was ignited, I watched many programmes about the Human condition, In 1989, pissed off by the stupidity of Thatcher's destruction of so many engineering businesses I packed up my interest in engineering and retrained into a professional position. My training and my 20+ years of professional experiences allows me to recognise just how useless it is trying to educate morons with their fixed ill informed opinions who refuse to see beyond the end of their nose. And who expose their nonsense Rightist political positions with their trade mark denigration and insinuating remarks. How interesting ..not. The irony is that in all that time you was unable to work out that you were one of the morons .

The information is that your brain is in poor condition . I am not his biggest fan either, but he is an intellectual giant compared to some of you knuckle dragging right wingers, all too busy thoughtlessly emoting to do much in the way of actual thinking. I see very little evidence on this forum that most of you have much in the way of intellect. You seem to be your own biggest fan . You and the pretend psychologist are very similar.

At least at that stage you will have recognised just what a moron you have been. (its 'you were unable', not 'was unable', and nevertheless just a silly comment)

I can understand that either you can be a very religious person or you can be an atheist but does anybody take the CoE seriously? A very watered down version of religion.

Very watered down version of religion, what a nice thought, if only all religions were watered down, I think that would come closer to uniting the world.

Might I suggest you adopt a naked hairy arse as an avatar? It would be so you, apart from the fact that it would actually make more sense. May I suggest that you stop flaming the thread and stop spreading lies about those contributing on it. You know, the point I picked you up on. I understand, with you being a fanatical lefty, who only knows abuse, intolerance and bigotry that it's hard for you to allow others to speak freely, but others may actually want to address the corruption in this country, even if you believe you're benefitting from it.
The ones who genuinely want to address the corruption in this country include people like me whom they make sure are shut out of power. The rest of you are just facilitators, distracted from all the real corruption as they encourage you to emote against the powerless. If you think I am benefitting from corruption then you are clearly entirely ignorant about me. As for your talk of flaming the thread, and telling lies about people, in this very thread you yourself have called me a Blairite and a fanatical lefty, entirely unaware that both labels are totally incompatible things. And of course I am neither. Not a Blairite. And although left wing I am hardly fanatical. But lying about me and any other Joe around here is normal for you.
