May as well have not bothered . Can't see that anyone got dealt a better hand than they already had . Any small gains made will get eaten by inflation ,council tax ,energy bills ect . The cons needed an all guns blazing ,all singing and dancing with bells on budget , what we got was a white flag . I am watching paint dry, about the same thing.

The only thing I got out of the budget was the alcohol duty and fuel duty freeze continuing - otherwise I'm out of pocket.
From a political aspect I'm not sure who it was supposed to appeal to - nothing for investment in the UK, nothing for pensioners, yet more money for the NHS and a ridiculous UK ISA scheme that means you dont have to invest in the UK.
“You have sat too long here for any good you have been doing. Depart, I say, and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go.”

And as for this nonsense:
“the NHS is, rightly, the biggest reason most of us are proud to be British” - Jeremy Hunt.
The NHS is not a religion, it's a health service. A failing one.

Hard to argue.. This is why I like Lawrence and the cult of wokeism hates him.

Ah yes, David Lawrence, thats the man who said that England lost to Italy on penalties in the Eurpean Champions because the players who took the penalties were black.
And that IS precisely what this Dickhead said

I think the idea of a Tory budget is making sure they've drained the pot for Labour, if it is a Autumn GE then the Tories have one more budget left in them, and if things aren't looking good for them they will make more tax cuts, leaving Labour with less and less tax payers money to squander.

There's no more budgets, we only usually have one per year. You may be thinking of the Autumn Statement.
