Thank you for editing one of your Mind Zone thread headings … I feel posts here carry more weight when swear words are reduced to a minimum.

Thank you for editing one of your Mind Zone thread headings … I feel posts here carry more weight when swear words are reduced to a minimum. I was trying to be more specific. We all make mistakes every day. This is more than a mistake. It's like saying Britain's entry into WW1 was a mistake. That kind of underplays it by a large amount. These kind of mistakes are created by certain kinds of mind. we won't go into details here since we'll keep this is mothers and babies thread so no one gets too disturbed.

So why is it not just a grey circle then? What's with the black and the white? It isn’t just black and white . Nothing is totally yin or yang . Notice the black dot in the white and the white dot in the black. thank you.

I try not to but lately I'm plagued with some ignorant fools regurgitating it to me. It infuses into the minds of the nation. still not sure what your problem is...you say "There is this overwhelming desire, in order to communicate to someone a thought that will be comprehended, that the complexities of reality need to be divided into exactly two pieces. " and you turn to social media??? For what...validation....that's all social media is...a bunch of anonymous people needing their lives validated by complete strangers in order to feel good about themselves.....anyway my suggestion is not to get to overwrought about what you read on social media. Cheers i’m not sure what his problem is either. But then all the mathematics and calculus i had to do considered examples that ‘tended to’ a limit. All the biological statistics like the chi squared test work with a concept that an individual measurement speaks to the individual belonging to ‘population x’ or ‘population y’ The classic example being the first year degree exam question where you are presented with two ‘populations’ of parrots of two distinct species, one with tail feathers of a particular hue in a particular size range, another with a different range of hues and sizes, and the fact that in zoology a species is defined as a population that physical, chemical or behavioural barriers restrict mating to those of that species. The exam requires that you use the actual measurements of size and hue of the individual animal and input them into this equation to determine the chances of the animal persuading another of each of the separate populations to positively react to his courtship rituals. In short, life relies for continuance upon duality, well that plus the fact that with a coefficient of variation of 30% between individuals in a population in the wild, females in receptive mood operate a ‘fuck it, you’ll do, get yer tail feathers in order, you’ve pulled’ mentality
