You kept asking why the EU refused to stop illegal migrants coming into the UK. You said you could see no reason why the EU would not cooperate in this even if there was nothing in it for them. In other words bend over backwards for the UK. I asked you to look at it from the EU point of view but you stated you were not interested in doing so and getting a balanced view. Because of this you have only half the information you should have. Typical of a narrow mind. Narrow mind! Apologies for butting in and don't for a moment think I'm sticking up for Bentley, I doubt he needs my support. But honestly ZG, you need to wise up old son. That's the point Red old mate. That I have read both the British side of the argument and the EU's side of the argument. Regardless of who you support I think that is essential to form any opinion on what is happening. Bentley is not interested is reading both sides.

I actually said. Have you ever looked up the UK re-joining the EU from the EU's perspective? Not because you want it to happen, but to better understand the current situation. See two lines, not one. You then said “I doubt that the UK will join the EU unless or until there is a dire need to do so . I’m not interested in EUs perspective but I’m sure the UK would be a great asset to the EU if it decided to apply to re join” You see the words "I’m not interested in EUs perspective" take on an entirely different meaning when you include my words "Not because you want it to happen, but to better understand the current situation." Enough now. This is the same pointless boring shit this forum is made of. You mean that different opinions are pointless boring shit? Wow differing opinions are what make a forum like this and nobody is forced to reply to anyone you can just leave the topic. Keep in mind that there maybe people who belong to a cult, who have been conditioned to react aggressively toward ideas that they have to share a world with people who disagree with their leader. In fact, you'd be surprised at just how much of the world functions this way.

Why should I listen to the EU's side of any argument? The EU has got should have nothing to do with the UK.

I assume you don't want them to stop illegal immigrants coming through Europe and crossing the channel. Maybe your graffiti on the White cliffs of Dover will be enough.

The foot stomping Ex remainer that believe their opinion is the only one that matters is a regular feature in the Brexit debate . They know that the best they can hope for is BRINO . There is no practical way that the UK will re join the EU without a crisis .
Why should we be any more preoccupied with re joining the EU ( which was the issue . Not the one that has been falsely claimed, even when I explained more than once….. It was ZG.. “Have you ever looked up the UK re-joining the EU from the EU's perspective?“ ) than be preoccupied by the prospect of becoming the US 51st state ? We should be looking forward not looking back( which is a frequent false accusation from ex remainers toward leavers) However that doesn’t mean the UK should not have a cordial and cooperative relationship with the UK . BUT …and this is the perfect illustration of the ex remainer mind set ….the EU is apparently justified to not cooperate with the UK because …wait for it……Nigel Farage upset them ! Am I joking! Am I lying ? Well just scroll back and see. ……

Our attitude towards to EU was personified by Mr Farage but it was still our attitude. You even applauded it by saying it was not rolling over. Well that is not how you make friends and its not how you get people to cooperate. We are just another out side country to them now, no different to Japan or Australia. They cooperate with these countries but only when its mutually beneficial. You want your cake and your ha'penny.

I pointed out you dishonestly changing words and therefore changing your premise … I suspect that the EU countries couldn’t care less about what Nigel Farage said or didn’t say . I suspect it’s the bitter ex remainers who care very much and that’s because it helps them to come to terms with their abject failure to keep the UK in the EU .

That's the advantage of not bothering to find out. You can suspect whatever you desire.
