I never said it was. Though there have been British communists, communism was never mainstream here either amongst the people or their rulers. And I like and respect George Orwell and fully relate to what he was telling us in both Animal Farm and 1984. Are you perchance trying to call me a communist now? lol Has a Corbyn supporter yes Britain’s Communist party will not field any general election candidates for the first time since its formation in 1920 in order to throw its weight behind Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour party. Declaring its endorsement of Labour’s leader, the Communist Party of Britain said victory for Mr Corbyn at the general election in June would be “the first step towards a formation of left-led government at Westminster Why are you posting yesterday's news? The Reds haven't fought an election for decades. 1980s I think.

Charlie, you have gone off on a tangent there old chap. ZG lives in this country, yet he asks us if we're proud to be British. If I went to some countries and asked the same question I'd be lucky to escape with my life. Yet I'm supposed to sit here and take this shit. I am very proud of being British, if I were a religious man I would thank my god that I was born in this country. One of the reasons I feel British is because my parents were born here, my grandparents were born here etc et al. I have an infinite love of this country because it's my country and belive me I've seen other countries which is why I came home. But I'm not happy because the England of my youth is a very different country to England today. "But I'm not happy because the England of my youth is a very different country to England today." There have I believe been discovered evidence of Plato complaining about the youth of today in the 4th century BC. Everyone when they reach a certain age lives in a country that's different to the one of their youth. Of course they do, what matters is is that difference a natural progression of events and people or is it somehow affected by actions undertaken by government and if it is was that in agreement with the people as presented to the people or was it directly against the wishes of the people. In terms of democracy it is quite an important point.

I Indeed, Zany - neither is going to be very accurate btw. It is also difficult to poll people's true opinions on socially taboo matters. People vote in secret and usually treat voting seriously though. Nonetheless most people at least think enough is enough.

I'm white British, my family goes back to Richard the first. Most peoples do. Not if they're from Nigeria or Albania, which was after all what Red was really asking. I'm white British, so are my parents and my grand parents and my great grand parents. Sorry to disappoint all the racists that lurk on here.

Red asked the wrong question. What he should have asked is 'Which haplogroups do your deep patrilineal and matrilineal ancestries correspond to?" Do you mind! I have no links to the Haplo's we don't even go to the same pub.
