Here how the law stand for you who don't Now it. It punishes the hard working tax.payer
Under the old rules a court will only grant a possession order to a landlord if their tenant is two months behind on their rent when their case is heard.
This gives time for tenants to make up lost rent ahead of the hearing, to avoid being made homeless.
The new law
mandatory ground for repeated serious arrears. Eviction will be mandatory where a tenant has been in at least two months’ rent arrears three times within the previous three years, regardless of the arrears balance at hearing.”
But Alicia Kennedy, director of the campaign group Generation Rent, told The Independent that some renters would find themselves in arrears “for reasons out of their control”.

ANOTHER example of Tories doing nothing for ordinary people Your right mate Many of the 1,000 richest people in Britain are property moguls - paid for by the rest of us Alice Martin A dysfunctional British housing market, propped up by housing benefit and public investment, is making a few people very, very rich. Wed 10 May 2017 03.39 EDT Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare via Email 6 years old It is a strange kind of economy where land and property routinely earn more than people do. But that is what we have – and the amount of wealth tied up in these areas has increased dramatically over the past few decades. Today the value of property in the UK stands at over £5tn – nearly 60% of the UK’s entire net wealth – up from just a little over £1tn in 1995. Those who own land and property have benefited directly from public investment in infrastructure and services: so we are all paying into the gigantic fortunes of Britain’s wealthiest property moguls. Quite right too. Ordinary people scrimping and saving to pay a mortgage over 25 years or more should benefit from it . ? How many of the 1,000 richest people in Britain are ordinarily people . You are talking about landlords aren't you..

If you read the old law it gave time for them to reply the debt. And it gives them the opportunity to be permanently behind in rent payments . I think I’ll take a leaf out of the leftie handbook and demand that the term ‘ landlords ‘ is offensive and should be scrapped. Many “ landlords “ are not rich people . They use their property as a pension or to generated money when they move temporarily ..or even to generated an income from a property until a relative moves in . Many landlords are pushed to the limit by renters who rip them off .

Rayner has worked out that buying her council house gave her assets to enhance her lifestyle, otherwise she would probably be a dinner lady at her local school, she also knows that once you get on the property ladder, and have assets and savings ...... YOU WILL NOT VOTE LABOUR.

Not everyone’ goes’ on a tax avoidance scheme either . Let’s say granny dies and leaves a house as an inheritance to the kids . The kids might decide to rent the house . Or someone self employed , not going to get a decent state pension decides to invest in a house , do it up and rent . In the case if the house my son rented it was a house that was earmarked for the daughter . There has been a lot of people doing this sort of thing . Lefties are determined to stop it and reduce the stock of rental houses . Well done.

Its been the same for many, many years, the bottom line is that the Tories ALWAYS look after their own class of people, the money grabbers, the rich, people who want to make money at any cost. It has been revealed today that the so called "Renters Reform Bill" which was to give tennants more security and fairer rules to protect tennants, is been opposed by a large group of Tories, mostly ones who (guess) Own Property, which they rent out. Rishi Sunak, the lame duck Prime Minister, who is so scared of his own party, has now delayed the Bill from passing through the House Of Commons, and seems to be allowing backbenchers to ammend ( water down ) the Bill to suit their own needs. Same with Employment Law The Tories have done nothing for ordinary people, all they do is take, take, take www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9-0WGo9ZrkI suspect landlords like Angela Rayner want to keep section 21 notice in place, that way she can kick out her 'tenants' when she feels like it. An immediate deviation, anything but debate.
