It was trivial to have a fucking glass of wine on a certain birthday but of course the usual dumfuck lefty knuckle draggers didn't think so at the time. Did they fiddles? Totally different matter It was not simply a glass of wine, it was a party, with a gathering of people to celebrate a birthday, and it involved booze, a buffet and birthday cake. At the same time most of us were obeying the rules, and some were denied access and visits to their loved ones, it was a case of "The Rules Dont Apply To Us", typical Tory arrogance. No it not fiddles. You just Jump threw hoops to defend a useless flag..

Just like Beergate, it was a party, with a gathering of people on a knees-up, and it involved booze, curries, "We will get off with it because we'll just pretend it's a works meeting", on a Friday night at 22.00. No it was not - it was 100% proven conclusively, beyond any doubt that the Durham meeting was not a party, it was not a piss-up, was not a social gathering. But like other posters you continue to ignore FACTS, you ignore evidence, and you ignore the conclusions of two police investigations.

If you seriously believe that a BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION where messages went out (seen by the police) stated that it was a "Get Together" a social event, "Bring Your Own Booze". Is the same as a MEETING which involved invites to a meeting with agendas for business, which involved date and time stamped videos proving it was a business meeting - then your are as thick as two short plank, and that goes for any other poster who either cant understand, or doesnt understand.

Out-of-power Starmer and Labour Party can pass as many motions as they like, but unless further evidence is produced, they'll be flushed away.
As it was 126 fixed penalty fines were issued — were any contested...?

The rules stated that you could not meet socially at the time HOW IS IT A "WITCH HUNT" WHEN IT WAS A VERY CLEAR BREAKING OF THE RULES ? Calling a police investigation into breaking public health rules, and issuing fines to 126 people a "witch hunt" is a pathetic excuse. Those idiots who are calling it a "witch hunt" are more or less saying that they should have been able to get away with breaking the rules. Are the police conducting a Witch Hunt if they pursue a murderer, a burglar or thief ? You break the law, or the rules, you face the consequences Why did they believe the rules did not apply to them ?
