I know the popular story, but you like myself have not seen any unequivocal evidence to back the story up. If such was available there would be no dispute. Until such unequivocal evidence is available all we have is gossip and insinuation. Eh? You don't believe that she bought and resold a council house ? There's no gossip She's already admitted the transactions and that no cgt was paid- or are you suggesting that one of your leftie heroes is telling porkies? You expect to see the lawyer's completion statements on the council house she bought at a discount and then resold at a vast profit? You want a copy of her tax return too? Post some actual evidence that she did wrong.

Not IMHO it is for her accuser to prove guilt, I don't like her with all these accusations allegations smears made anyone would think there is GE in the offing , personally it just proves what a dirty nasty game Politics has become Exactly. Politics and political forums are not courtrooms . They are an environment for speculation and opinion. And insinuation. Not a very nice place to be.

She can’t have it both ways . Condemning corporations for legal tax avoidance and doing it herself is sheer hypocrisy. The only difference between her and ‘ tory scum’ is that she is doing it on a smaller scale .
I would define a tax loophole as something that goes against the wishes of Parliament.
Raynor was criticising the unintended consequences of poorly drafted legislation of which there is rather too much I'm afraid.

Point one she had every right to live in a council house Point 2 she has every right to sell her house under the current legal terns. point 3 Why is her and Labour going to stop others from buying their Council houses? Point 4 The Labour Party have no plans to stop tennants from buying their council homes, and have no plans to stop "Right To Buy".

Post some actual evidence that she did wrong. Why doesn't she produce evidence that she didn't do wrong? Stop the speculation. Because it is logically and semantically IMPOSSIBLE to prove a negative - just a guess. How do you respond to "Prove you didn't rape a child." That is why we have the "Presumption of Innocence until PROVEN Guilty." All The Best

The only difference between her and ‘ tory scum’ is that she is doing it on a smaller scale . It looks like a pile of typical Tory insinuations to me. AS far as I'm concerned that is the way it will remain until some positive proof emerges to prove she did wrong. No one cares.

Just at the position you are taking, we must trust her word, despite problems with her side of the story... would you be so accommodating if she was a Tory? So you seriously believe she got married and then lived away from her husband for the first 5 years of their marriage? You believe that her brother lived with her husband for those same 5 years? Her neighbours are saying otherwise, they are saying her brother lived in her house, and she lived with her husband. Why did she lie on Newsnight about (a) the year of the sale (b) her occupation at the time of the sale?

Rayner wouldn't know the truth if it came up and slapped her across the face, Starmer was asked 7 times had he ever used drugs in his younger days, it was a simple Yes or No answer, 7 times he spluttered and would not say Yes or No, both Rayner/Starmer/Labour have a problem answering direct questions they can not say a positive Yes or No, BTW no one cares if Starmer took drugs or not, in fact it would probably boost his popularity because he comes across as wooden.
