I see that self-awareness is not very prevalent at 'who what why' Today, much of the world is again asking itself whether democracy is really the system of government they want. The notion articulated by Abraham Lincoln that there should be a “government by the people and for the people” is under attack, even in the United States. A significant number of people would prefer “government for some of the people, to be decided by the right people.”Today it's the Democrats who are trying to prevent the people's choice of Republican candidate from running - seems that only people approved by the Democratic Party are allowed to run for election.. Of course the rules for who can run comes from the constitution, not the Democratic Party. The decision as to whether Trump qualifies or not will be made by the Supreme Court, not the Democratic Party.

The legal action concerning Trump's actions during the election, and him playing games with keeping records are warranted.
However this other stuff, just feeds into his narrative that the establishment is out to get him.
America's legal system is a joke, the judges and prosecutors are obviously far from impartial. Trump was able to stack the Supreme Court in his favour which is wrong, and District Attorneys standing on a platform of "getting Trump" is also wrong.

The problem is they are all lying, so it allows people like Trump to run "fake news" narratives. Trying to compare Trump to Hitler is just silly. Trump is on an ego trip to show us all how brilliant he is, where as Hitler was bitter and angry at the loss of an empire, in much the same way Putin is. One should be wary with over-egging the pudding, because it allows legitimate concerns and arguments to be dismissed.

You have a point on the overegging, agree with you there, but I think that it was the playbook that was being compared rather than the characters.

Who are you replying too Andy? You. The article does no such thing Andy. Trump warned the EUSSR about putting all their eggs in the same basket.

Just your biased opinion. How can it be biased when I am quoting 'FACTS'?
If you don't agree with a poster you accuse them of being a liar, or of being biased, it's the reason you can't be taken seriously, and your posts are dismissed as nonsense.
You are wasting your time trying to debate with an idiot , they drag you down to their level then beat you on their ill informed nonsense

The article does no such thing Andy. Trump warned the EUSSR about putting all their eggs in the same basket. The article was about the bias of the SC. If you'd actually read it,it didn't mention the EU. And it only mentioned Trump in relation to the subpoenas against him. It classed the SC as swinging to the right (hence nullifying your post anyway) but its main complaint was about making too many decisions where it wasn't wanted.

The thread started off about NATO contributions Andy. But of course the usual dumbfucks have to attempt to divert the thread with their childish and idiotic rants..

Really? - two States (Colorado and Maine) which are run by Democrats, have both decided that Trump will be banned from the ballot. It's the Democrats who are insisting that only people who meet their approval can run for election - democracy in action..

If they'd have permitted him on there it would still go to the Supreme Court for them to make the decision. And whatever decision the Supreme Court make will have to be binding on all states.
