Tam Devine is a famous Scottish historian , who comes from a family of long time Labour Party supporters , and his book that I got that quote from `the Scottish nation ` was praised by your mate gordon brown as well as being an international best seller at the time. I dont think a day passes on this forum where you dont personally make yourself , and the wider Labour Party look like clowns by screaming righty and all other manner of nonsensical stuff at anyone who even thinks about criticising labour. The fact you can't handle any form of even mild criticism of labour shows exactly labour never listen , never try to learn from mistakes , merely want to lecture with their we know best attitude. It was a quote from his book , written about labour front benchers by the then media back in the days of tom Johnstone if I remember correct , s .o . s for Scotland around the Second World War. Are you denying Alistair darling was a prime example of what we term a champagne socialist , and how labour peers like darling , from a party that has been promising to abolish the lords for 114 years , epitomises all that is wrong with labour and their easily discarded principles? I really do think you are that stupid. Did you read , and at least try and understand the bit I wrote about darling carrying Scottish socialist republican banners in his youth? He would have been 20 years old in the early seventies , nearly quarter of a century before new labour took power. Do you understand that so far? So the point is being Made for the dim witted and rather slow minded that he supported republicanism and ending the lords in his youth , then accepted a life peerage in 2015 in later life , showing how cheap and easily labour politicians can be bought by the very establishment they claim to hate. If you can't see the connection , and the obvious hypocrisy , then you are either completely stupid , or selectively blind . |
