You cannot get through to the hardline Tory Nationalists
If / When Keir Starmer becomes Prime Minister, the agreement that we have with the European Union will get ripped up and will be thrown away.
We will get a new agreement with the European Union based upon the idea of doing business, buying and selling, having mutual access easier and simpler.
The reason(s) for doing this are to improve our economy, help British businesses, help exporters, encourage growth, get our country moving again after 14 years of pityfull growth, PARTLY due to Brexit.
The Conservatives, especially under Boris, and under pressure from the Brexit extremists of the Tory Party, wanted Brexit at all costs, over and above anything or everything else, even to the detrement of British businesses and our economy, they are fanatics.
Hopefully, this will change if Starmer becomes Prime Minister, agreements WILL BE FORGED in the interests of the UK, its economy, and its people.

There are other members on here who dont vote , or certainly dont support the current conservative government, yet like me absolutely detest the Labour Party . I think everyone is largely aware of this. This is what has been commonly known for years as some sort of BRINO deal. Anyone who voted for Brexit irrespective of which party they normally support beware of the truth in your words here. If people let starmer into power , you are inviting a BRINO deal , and turning the uk into a worldwide laughing stock which will look as though the uk is crawling back to Brussels on it hands and knees begging for penitence . You can dress it up all you like , but the uk will be mocked far and wide , and the world will see who has the whip hand. |
