Yeo just confirming what I said Germany, the biggest economy in Europe, is going through tough times economically and it has cut its growth predictions for the year. It's facing various difficulties including a lack of skilled workers, excessive bureaucracy, high interest rates and slower global trade. The outlook is more pessimistic after growth forecasts of 1.3% have been downgraded to just 0.2%. Last year, the economy shrunk 0.3%.
That doswnt mean there in recession if so UK has been for the last 4 yRd at least.

Fuel costs have gone up 60% in the last two years, just one of the things hitting farmers who use vehicles like tractors and quad bikes etc to work. It is hitting everything as Biden and his anti-Russian admin does not want serious diplomacy with Putin and his chums and so is hurting the economies of the West. If Trump wins this might improve. Putin doesn't want serious diplomacy Putin wants what Putin wants, that's why he invaded Ukraine in the first place. Putin's driver was assassinated a few years back or at least that is what they think, recall Snowden had to flee there and now the US wants Assange for releasing video content that shows US forced blitzed normal Iraqis to death. There is no justice just power and recall a lot of Russians living in Ukraine for ages were killed by Ukrainian paramilitaries before the Russians invaded and when Oliver Stone tried it point this out on a Youtube it got taken down very quickly. This is a manufactured conflict and ordinary Ukrainians are paying the price. I am not a fan of Putin just recognize he is their militaries man and they are arguably the biggest world nuclear power that Bidens believes he can play dare with. Those J6 protesters that could have taken assault rifles to Jan 6 were banged up for longer than some murderers for trespass in a govt building. Some have received prison guard beatings with one losing an eye. Like I say there is no justice just power........

Show me the proof the UK is in a recession due to Brexit and I'll show you that Brexit caused Germany's recession. This should be funny, you're flat out posting links. What recession? Robert Habeck said the German government's forecast for economic growth for 2024 had been revised down from 1.3% to 0.2%. This means that Europe's largest economy has effectively stalled - although it has avoided entering a full-blown recession.2 days ago www.bbc.co.uk › news › w... German economy is in 'troubled waters' - ministry - BBC News Deary me. I'll try again. Where is your proof that Brexit has caused the recession?

Some have received prison guard beatings with one losing an eye. Like I say there is no justice just power........ I don't know about your first two points in paragraph 1. If Assange had posted only the provable unacceptable military actions by the US forces, then IMO he would have received almost total public support. But it appears to be the case that he exposed many things that were genuinely required to be kept private to the US. He is IMO a victim of his own foolishness, not of the force of power. The so called Ukrainian paramilitaries were local people prepared to fight those descendants of migrant workers who decided they wanted to take control of part of Ukraine. The "manufactured" situation in Ukraine began in 2013 when Yanukovych (Putin's man in Ukraine) refused to sign the agreement between Ukraine and the EU, for closer trading with the EU. His refusal to sign an already made verbal agreement saw thousands of Ukrainians demonstrating on the streets, leading to Putin's annexation of the Crimea. in 2014, and the Russian backing for the dissidents looking for independence in Ukraine. Putin is a liar and a deceiver, amongst his many lies he promised to protect Ukrainian borders if Ukraine handed over all nuclear weapons to Russia. The J6 "protesters" were traitors to American democracy. They are very lucky that many receive very short periods in prison and it seems that many will escape any prosecution at all. Obviously any beatings and one losing an eye is not acceptable. Don't undermine either the Law or Democracy because that empowers would be dictators like Trump.

I think the Russians think they have the moral superiority (they do not see it as we do) they think they are at war with NATO in Ukraine, Stoltenberg has commented on supplying F-16s to Ukraine so they can strike deep in Russia. Russians note the USA used nukes on Japan to stop unnecessary bloodshed of thier troops, Russia is now thinking the same. www.eurasiantimes.com/f-16-fighting-falcons-nato-boss-ruffles-kremlin/#google_vignetteBiden won the last election though 97 affadavits (from my brother) were dismissed out of hand by the Supreme court and yet Biden does not control the house so is restricted on what he can do. No word in the media yet on his budget for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, dismissed at the first attempt by the house.

Putin has one reason and one reason only to see NATO as a problem, and that Problem is that it will stop Putin expanding his Empire just as and when Putin / Russia wants to invade a neighboring country, as in the case of Ukraine. NATO is a defensive organisation, it, along with just about every other country in the world is not interested in invading Russia. His claims about NATO is a red herring. IIRC Russia already has the largest land mass of any country. The Russian Empire is now called the Russian Federation. There was never ever a country called Russia. So where are the years of war, (started by Japan) and the thousands of deaths that preceded the dropping of the 'A Bombs' on Japan? And where is the threat that Japan might develop their own 'A Bomb' before the US and use it before the US? His aid budget was dismissed on the first attempt and on the second attempt, blocked by Extremist right-wing Republicans under orders from Trump even though other republicans voted for it. F-16 fighters, excellent news for Ukraine. The Ukraine is fighting a defensive war against Russia, no invasion then no war.

I have never seen it so I can't pass judgement on it. but I suspect it was so far away from reality and so clearly misleading it was dropped. BUT, it is worth looking up the opinions of Oliver Stone, that might give some indication of why it was dropped.

I haven't read it all yet, I'm just about to have my tea. --After the invasion, Stone — who had also criticized the media for using the term “invasion” to characterize Russia’s plans — came around. “Although the United States has many wars of aggression on its conscience, it doesn’t justify Mr. Putin’s aggression in Ukraine. A dozen wrongs don’t make a right. Russia was wrong to invade.” deadline.com/2022/03/oliver-stone-criticizes-putin-ukraine-1234973037/

Imo if the UK was so rich that every one was using ten pound notes to wipe their arses , the ex remainers would be claiming we could have used twenty pound notes had we not left the EU. Ex remainers have constructed an alternative universe in their heads where we are still in the EU and everything is better .

If we do not have a competent military capable of confronting and defeating him, he will be emboldened.
