Are we sure that these low voter turnouts are because people are less likely to vote at by elections — or could it be that a significant number of voters wonder what’s the use when there’s only lack-lustre candidates or lying clowns to vote for…?

And especially with Labour. Given the number of U-Turns that Starmer's made, no Labour voter will have any certainty of what they're actually voting for.
With all due respect that sounds suspiciously like the sort of sneering, elitist dismissal of the electorate that remainers were accused of when a vote didn't go their way. Championship level whataboutery there, Bumbles.
