Sharp jump in proportion of non-UK nationals in NHS workforce Some 214 different foreign nationalities are now represented in the NHS.
Three in 10 nurses and more than a third of doctors are now non-UK nationals, driven by steep increases in recent years.
That of Course dosent include the British Ethnic minority in the NHS work force.

Not sure what is right-wing about it though.

Like not Giving the Junior doctor's a decent pay rise . Especially when they Gave the Main stem of there voters .10% benefits increase.

All training courses in the UK for Doctors and Nurses are massively oversubscribed - we could train and employ more of our own people but the government chooses not to. It's cheaper to import foreign labour.

He is once again spouting nonsense, the NHS is the largest single employer in the UK, only one in five workers is from overseas the rest the bulk of the workforce are British Citizens.
The reason we have such a large workforce is to try and deal with the needs of as constantly rising population it is anticipated the population will be at least 70 million in a few years time, the NHS has a large turnover of staff , retirements ,illness, changing jobs, even passing away, as fast as new staff join others are leaving.
The amount of money the taxpayers have to stump up every year to keep the NHS afloat and in place is enormous

The amount of money the taxpayers have to stump up every year to keep the NHS afloat and in place is enormous can you prove 1.5 NHS employees are immigrants. Seeing we had immigrants enmployec in the NHS since it set up i find that hard to believe. And yes the ever increasing population also includes people living longer . Who Certainly are more pressure on the NHS then the General population. Don't you agree ?

I'm not aware of any Labour Government in my lifetime who didn't import foreign labour for the NHS - but if you want to think of all them as right-wing then go ahead. no I said money pinching from the NHS was right wing you know I did . So lets get this clear - when the Tories import foreign labour to work in the NHS it is 'right-wing', but when Labour do exactly the same (for exactly the same reasons) it's 'left-wing'? Seems a bit daft if you ask me..
