Political Capital ?
The mother of a murdered trans person was in the House of Commons, murdered because she was different, and Sunak makes a cheap jibe at Starmer about trans people.
I think its almost all the Tories have left to go on, culture wars, because they have nothing else to offer.

Pensions, planning, peerages, public sector pay, tuition fees, childcare, second referendums, defining a woman - although in fairness that was only 99% of a U-turn." Lefties are falsely claiming that a Sunak made a jibe against transgenders . Some might be too thick to see the difference and some might be lying . It’s one or the other . |

Having literally just been told the mother was in the house it was at best a stupid comment to make. Especially as he was just parroting dim witted alt right comments about Starmer whose comments on what is a woman were only ever echoing the official government line. Seems it's Sunak doing a U Turn on that.

Especially as he was just parroting dim witted alt right comments about Starmer whose comments on what is a woman were only ever echoing the official government line. It was the magnetic opposite of Diplomacy and tact
To suggest that a an ex Director of Public Prosecutions, educated at a Grammer School and University does not know what a woman is, cannot be anything other than a cheap jibe.
People like Sunak, Peter Bone, Truss and Rees Mogg belong in the 18th century

Brianna Ghey was a child.
A child who was murdered in an atrocious manner that is an unforgivable attack and crime.
It was a premeditated, planned murder by two of her peers who were motivated by some sick dark fantasy they decided to act out.
Somehow amongst all of this, her mother has shown considerable strength and empathy.
I don’t think any of the above has anything to do with the whole ‘what is a woman’ debate.
I also don’t think it was the most appropriate joke to be making in parliament when her mother was present - anymore than you’d make a joke about cancer in a room who’s relative has recently passed away from it.

I think this is what's called confected outrage. I don't see that the Ghey murder had anything to with what Sunak said, which was about his uncertainty of the definition of a woman - and Brianna Ghey was NOT a woman. I think that SUnak should have made more of Starmer's extraordinary attempt to make political capital out of this murder. And the more publicity he gets the more plays he gets of his attack on Captain U-Turn. Indeed he should have done and starting with the rules of the House of Commons 25.73 . No reference should be made to visitors whether in the public gallery or any other part of the chamber (except for the purpose of a motion for their withdrawal) So Starmer broke parliamentary rules and should have been pulled on it by the speaker who obviously doesn't know the rules either . Starmer broke parliamentary protocol and the speaker should have admonished him. MP's in the chamber are not supposed to directly identify anyone in the public gallery. Starmer is at fault here. He attempted to score petty political points in order to hide his own embarrassment over saying a woman can have a penis. Starmer is a penis. |

Apparently Brianna's death certificate says she was male. because IT died before some change in the law allowing IT to be recorded as a gender other than IT was in truth. |

What the gender recognition act is a case of English being used to declare blackiswhite. The law is a huge ass. |
