This might a new Stephen Lawrence scenario. The mother might end up in the Lords and make a living off of being the mother of a murder victim . Brianna Ghey wasn't killed because Dave the scaffolder can’t call himself Suzy and get naked in the women’s changing room . A bit below the belt is your post The point is that an innocent person was murdered because they were different, and Rishi Sunak put his foot in it. I know of a campaign called The Sophie Lancaster Foundation, named after a young girl from Lancashire who was murdered because she was different, she was a Goth. Doreen Lawrence would have been a nobody if it was not for the fact that her teenage son was also murdered because he was different. To rub salt into the wounds of grieving parents, the culprits got off, partly because the police couldnt really care that much. |

If she hadn't been trans their relationship would have been seen as possibly developing into boyfriend and girlfriend. After all, she was a boy. Teenage boy living as a girl tells his parents he's got a girlfriend ... so how he have reacted if Jenkinson had come on to him? Assuming he wasn't gay he would maybe have felt less inclined to carry on being a girl. |

How could he say what ? That the Labour party still think a ‘woman’ with a dick is really a woman? Easy, because it’s the truth. Yesterday i read a lefty account of a ‘journalist’ writing one handed about the degree to which Sunak - and everyone before him - has his words scripted in green highlighter in longhand. So some replacement for Cummings SCRIPTED those words I wonder who is going this afternoon never to return That they deserve to be sacked is obvious. Because any competent SPAD worth his parliamentary pass would have scripted Sunak to ask whether the dishonourable member for chicks with dicks was proposing to stand ‘Suzy’ Izzard as their candidate on the all woman shortlist for Blaenau Gwent, and thus give Trish Law a second term as their MP. |

I think this is what's called confected outrage. I don't see that the Ghey murder had anything to with what Sunak said, which was about his uncertainty of the definition of a woman - and Brianna Ghey was NOT a woman.
I think that SUnak should have made more of Starmer's extraordinary attempt to make political capital out of this murder. And the more publicity he gets the more plays he gets of his attack on Captain U-Turn.
