Flip Flop wobble wobble
Labour are saying whatever they believe they need to say to get headlines and votes.
On top of this "green" committment we have had no tax rises, and a plan to reduce corporation tax
Rayner casts more doubt on Labour's £28bn green investment vow......
Rayner has cast further doubt on Labour’s plan to invest up to £28billion a year in the green economy if it wins power, calling the number “arbitrary”.
Despite her party promoting the number in the first place, the deputy leader said on a visit to Scotland: “It’s not about just throwing a figure out there willy-nilly.”
It follows Sir Keir Starmer and other senior Labour figures backing away from the plan and saying the investment, funded by borrowing, is contingent on the party’s “fiscal rules”.
Labour originally promised in 2021 to invest £28bn a year until 2030 in green projects if it came to power, but then slowly backtracked after the Tories seized on it to attack them.

Of Course there is some promises the oppersion labour party have broken I'm disappointed with. But Compare that to the ruling Government Broken promises.in there Manifesto Talk about flip.flop All the Conservative Manifesto Promises Boris Johnson has Broken The Prime Minister’s promise not to raise National Insurance is the latest in a growing list of ripped up pledges from his 2019 manifesto, reports Adam Bienkov Adam Bienkov 6 April 2022 Immigration, hospitals: what other manifesto promises have Tories broken? From doctor numbers to Northern Powerhouse Rail, the 2019 manifesto is full of unfulfilled pledges, says John Rentoul 9 times flip-flopping Rishi Sunak broke his promises - from NHS waiting lists to taxes The PM has become notorious for chucking promises made to voters as he has whacked up taxes, failed to cut record hospital waiting lists and ditched a Brexit pledge to scrap EU laws Rishi Sunak has axed pledges he made in the Tory leadership race last summer Rishi Sunak has axed pledges he made in the Tory leadership race last summer(Wiktor Szymanowicz/REX/Shutterstock) By John Stevens, Dave Burke 17:24, 12 May 2023UPDATED17:25, 12 May 2023

Of Course there is some promises the oppersion labour party have broken I'm disappointed with. Apart from proving Guy Fawkes and co was right and we should nuke the whole lot of the scum, what EXACTLY is the relevance of supposed Tory non adherence to statements made five years ago to anything Labour say today ? Seven years ago labour lied their fucking arse off. The individual statements made and published by the lying fucking shitbags in every constituency that voted leave in 2016 all avoided all contact with jeremy corbyn and all made the same utterly bullshit statement that they needed to respect the will of the people. They need not have said that. They could have said what they really felt instead. After all, all sorts of other candidates of other parties were making promises entirely believable that they would do all sorts from just ditching the 1972 EEC act and leaving immediately and sod it, to calling the referendum ‘advisory’ and using the ballot papers as parliamentary bogroll. Hell, that well known defender of democracy - as long as the voter was black - David Lammy SAID Labour should ignore the white leave voter’s voice on the Friday after the vote occurred But in case you forgot Boris won in 2019 because the entire UK - apart from the black republic of Inner London - was disgusted with the antics of the lying labour bastards. They conspired with The Speaker - who we really should have hung by the ankles from traitor’s gate until the high tide stopped his smarmy wriggling - to abuse the Fixed Term Parliaments Act created by that so called liberal - another we really should have fucking hung - Clegg (who in 2019 saw the way the tide was turning and went off to make millions as an apologist for Zuckerberg’s Arse Book) and thereby turned the mother of parliaments into a fucking zombie apocalypse hoping to destroy the country by inactivity. What Boris - or indeed any of the three figure majority of MP’s who stormed into the green seats on the back of the public’s herculean cleaning of the aegean stables and all their horse shit that tbe opposition benches had become - SAID in the 2019 election is quite irrelevant. We sent him and his tub thumping majority in to the midden that the Palace of Westminster had become in order to throw mealy mouthed left wing scum into the street if not straight into The Thames, and they did just that Personally i’m not convinced Starmer wont try to have us back in the EU, Euro, Schengen and all by 2029 despite his less than enthusiastic blatherings that he wont. After all, this is the head of tbe CPS that did fuck all while white children were raped by pakistani immigrsnts welcomed into the country by labour immigration policy
