Slow, predictable along with sideways passes. Then EnBellinghamore and it gives them confidence to up the tempo and be more positive. Shame it takes a goal for them to do this. Up next the frogs. Would be nice to send the arrogant arses packing but I cannot see our defence stopping Mbappe & co. Yea It is a shame it took until the first goal for us to get into our swing . has much i think bellingham a good player he was wanting a couple of times and seemed to switch of he cant afford to do that against france. |

Maguire can cut out the Hollywood passes from defence as well; Beckenbauer he is not. He irks me, struts around like he is the dog's nuts. England should mix it up more. Go direct every now and again Kane is a good target and holds the ball up well. |

Did anyone see what Frankie Boyle said about Harry Kane this week? I didnt , but i tell you monte , no one could accuse you of having your finger on the pulse of world cup football.
Harry kanes past it you said , and he goes on to have one of the highest player ratings of the england senegal game and scored a goal.

We still haven't had a real test. i wonder why that is? i pointed out the poor quality of opposition and "entrants" into these world cup finals , and buccy buckfast had a heart attack and accused me of being bitter.
Senegal arent a bad side , not brilliant , but are obviously without their star player , but still a good result.

Thomas should be happy the big boys have made it to the next round: England, Argentina, Netherlands and France. Pretty predictable buccy wouldnt you say? Concacaf , eastern european , oceanic and african team all out so far.
I take your "big boys " dig on the chin buccy , but imagine getting to a world cup quarter finals and the hardest team you have played so far is an aging welsh side who hadnt qualified for the world cup in 64 years with a forty year old star player.
Why dont you just cut out the middle men next world cup , hand over the brown envelope (full of euroes i hope )and get the bye to the quarters?
